I visited a few Mexican spots before landing at El Potro Mexican Restaurant in Lake City, and I’m so glad I did.

From the moment I walked in, Ms. Irma (the hostess on duty) took care of me. She made sure I understood what was happening, walked me through different options, and honestly… she heard what I was trying to say even when I didn’t fully...

My husband loved their buffet! I ordered a meal from the menu and the waitress came back to let me know it had flour in it. She was very helpful in finding a grain- free alternative meal. It was delicious!

Yes, chips and salsa come with the order! and my personal favorite things are Chicken Fajitas, Taco Salad, Enchiladas when I order off the menu. But they have the best buffet in America on Sunday! Everything you can think of on that buffet, tacos, tacquitos, nachos, fajitas, salad, eggs if you want breakfast!, soups, refried beans and rice and salsa fresca and much more. I want to eat some of everything! A great restaurant with super nice owners and servers who speak both english...
