Firehouse Subs Lake City Village Square

Typical tasty Firehouse Subs quality food. This establishment was so-so clean but not super organized-- it looked like they were in the middle of doing a couple projects at once -- restocking various types of soft drinks with half unpacked cartons taking up several of the table tops. Not just one-- it was as if all the employees were doing multiple unpackings, and then they ALL stopped mid-project and left it there -- or one person began unpacking, got distracted and then began unpacking something else leaving the first project out and unfinished, and then started a third thing and got interrupted and didn't finish that. The staff were pleasant, courteous and friendly but VERY SLOW. Half seemed happy to be there (the friendly pleasant courteous ones) and half seemed like they wished they were somewhere else, even if they still acted professionally toward the customer and did their job - it seemed like they were personally miserable and forced. Again, the service is slow, but good food.

I am here on work. Been here 2 times at different times of day… this place is nasty! Mose unkept, dirty floors, tables, never have the tea containers covered!! Every surface is dirty!! And the mural is concerningly racist!! A bit disturbing!!

The order was called in and 45 minutes later when going to pick it up, it still wasn’t ready. Had to stay in there another 20 minutes! I don’t get a very long lunch hour!

Vegetarian options: I ordered a half veggie sub on wheat. I asked for mayo also. When I picked up my sub and went back to work with it, it had sautéed onions, green peppers and mushrooms. It had spicy hot mustard and mayo on it. The veggie sub that I saw Online had lettuce, tomato onions, banana peppers, bell pepper and mushrooms. When the order was called in, I asked them to add any veggies they had that normally did not come on the veggie sub. My sub had none of that! The worst sub I have ever had! Horrible! I would give them a zero if I could but I can’t so I gave them a 1!

Fast and delicious food, I come here weekly and they've only messed up my order once, I called them and they fixed it right away incredibly friendly and amazing team cannot reccomend this location enough! The general manager at the Lake city location is absolutely amazing and does a great job helping and coaching her team!!

They let us stand there in line didn't even act like they even saw us as soon as we moved they help the peoples right behind us and have love everyone but we black peoples have feeling also just asking for respect

Extremely slow service, 18 minutes for a sandwich with hardly any customers. No common sense to serving. Staff just stood around going extremely slowly.

This was once my favorite place to get a sub. Dinning area is dirty! Floors, tables, bathrooms, and the drink station is beyond disgusting. The drink machine is always out of ice, no flavors, doesn’t look like it has been cleaned in a long time. Service counters are cluttered and dirty. Staff appearance very sloppy. Staff more concerned with talking and playing instead of serving customers and up keeping the restaurant. What can be seen of the sandwich prep area is a bit disturbing. Management needs some improvement. Would love to see this place returned to its original state of operation

This is my second time stopping at this location. Both times I have stayed inside to eat. They do not take care of the customer inside. One person seems to be fixing the sandwiches why the other two are loss. No sweetie tea. 4 people sitting in lobby waiting on food. Work force here sucks. Out of three staff, one guy is doing.everything. The other two girls are talking and wasting time. There’s actually 4 staff members here. Sad!! No organization at all!
