The food here is always very good. The style of cooking and dishes served have a true country flair. The restaurant is always busy any time I've been there. Usually between 10 am and 2 pm. However, if you have to wait for a seat inside, it is not more than 10 minutes. There is plenty of outside seating available on the covered porch. Inside has a good mis of tables and booths. I notice there are quite a few regular customers that eat there. The staff is friendly, the portions are good and the food is very tasty.

I always check out Pinterest to see what to do and where to eat when I’m in a new town. Shirley’s was highly recommended and I would have to agree. Plenty of seating inside and out. I had a Western omelette w grits which was quite yummy. The price was reasonable. Service was quick and friendly. They checked on me frequently to see if I needed anything and even gave me a soda for the road. I’m looking forward to trying their meatloaf later in the week 😋
