Fantastic experience at The Oaks restaurant in Lake City, Fl. The owners are warm and welcoming, treating you like family. I’d highly recommend the Whiskey Chicken and Cowboy Burger. 5 stars all the way!

We were looking for a new place to try and was not sure what to expect. We heard they had a new chef and are working on many changes.We were greeted by Johnny our server who is also the tennis pro and great guy. He juggled our table and a Christmas party with ease making us feel at home.The most surprising was the food. We had bourbon chick and shrimp and grits. We recently moved from Durham NC a foodie city and these meals were on par with anything we’ve had up there. It was wonderful.I can’t wait to see what changes they make to the building and hope the community supports this restaurant.It’s open to the public and reasonable priced. I think it’s less expensive and tastier then The Great Outdoors in High Springs.

We absolutely LOVE going to The Oaks! Whether it's for a quick bite between patients, a leisurely brunch or even an important business lunch/dinner we are always treated like family. The staff truly love being there and it shows in their pride in cleanliness, customer service and authenticity. Several months back I had opportunity to dine The Oaks, lets just say I love to eat ? & left with half my shrimp entree after eating my chicken nachos appetizer was a meal in itself. The staff was super nice & attentive. I do not golf but the golf grounds look peaceful in nature.

It's a very beautiful Morden Farm Look restaurant that serves delicious food with a golf course with a course view! The staffs are so sweet and kinda! Definitely coming back for girls nights! It’s a to go place at lake city!
