I really like coming here but will not come here at night. The younger crew was cursing and swearing, laughing very loud like we were at a night club. They were talking about new employees. It was just terrible last night, but to food was good as usual. Waffle House please teach the younger crew to respect there elders. Kids also come here too. Smh

We were very impressed. A nice hello welcoming. Emma took her out with and was very efficient. Cheyenne helped with warm up with coffee. Mark was a great cook. We didn't have to wait for a seat. And we didn't wait long for our food. It was nice and hot. The staff was kind and attentive and it was very clean.

Went the morning of 9/10 2025 and the waitress looked like she was taking drugs because she had this far off stare and it took her a long time to greet us. When she did, no hello or good morning, she just stared. We gave her our order and she proceeded to stand at the end of the other side of the restaurant without putting out order in. We waited and watched for 8 minutes and she still hadnt put it in so we got up and left. Never seen someone move so slow! Never again!

I had ordered bacon then I asked “how much will it cost to add 1 egg and toast to the bacon. The waitress said $6.75. I get the bill and it’s $12.50. I said something. She said I can’t add the egg and toast to the bacon and it’s $6.75 by its self. I try explaining the question which was pretty clear. Obviously since she understood enough to explain herself for adding it but when I get upset she calls me out for being rude. What a common way to make it the customers fault. On top of that there was a manager right there who chose not to say a word. So for 1 egg, toast and 3 pcs of bacon I paid $12.50. A senior (I’m a senior and look like it) pays $7.50 for 2 eggs, toast and 2 pcs bacon OR a special for $8.50. Lake City is a small community and I can be very vocal. I would think they’d prefer to make their customers happy. I will never ever go back to this location and I will tell all my many many friends and associates the same. Bye bye business.

This is one of the best Waffle Houses I’ve ever been to! The staff works well together and that attitude trickles down to the customers. The only downside (which could be an upside) was that I have “Let it go” in my head!! Next time the staff should choreograph a dance routine while playing “Let it go” and that would get 6 stars! Happy Mothers Day!

The same comfy atmosphere as every Waffle House but prices that make millionaires take notice. God forbid you place an order to go, my overprices breakfast bowl went from $12.75 to almost $15. There might be a cost for the to go box but that is absurd. Waffle House is now off my list of places to go for a quick bite when I must run back to the four letter bad place (work). The staff is pleasant but a bit slow.

Had a burger and hash browns. The service was exceptional and the food was fast, hot and tasty. Obviously there are places you can get a better burger, but WH is definitely better than a fast food joint.
