The best catfish I've ever had. People search for hidden gems like this all over florida. Luckily I drive past here all the time en route to inverness. If you haven't been to catfish Johnny's stop in and get you a plate of some real florida
This was my first time here. I can not eat shellfish, but I had a chicken sandwich, it was good. I was with four others, and they had the bang-bang shrimp and said it was good.

Saw the good restaurant reviews and also wanted to checkout the Tap Room next door so we made the trek on a Friday evening. We knew there'd be a wait as it was a very mild winter day and everyone was out. Ninety minutes later, we were seated. Three total in our group - Two opted for the broiled platter the other for the "jumbo" fried shrimp... They were far from jumbo. I had the soup (gumbo if I recall) as a starter... I was told it was the last cup. I hope so because it was cold no one else deserves a cold cup of soup. There was nothing special at all about our dining experience and our server wasn't very attentive. We asked for two Yuengling's but were brought some watered down light beer (guessing mich ultra). We had waited long enough and were not about to send them back. We drank 'em and as you can see in the photo, mine sat empty through dinner. I was never asked if I would like another. Oh well.The Tap room had a decent variety of beers from across America. We would definitely stop in there for a pint or two next time we're in the area -- However, we'll make sure we eat somewhere else first.
