I recently tried the Antojitos Navideños, and it absolutely hit the spot. Food was delicious and authentic.

Started off with the chef giving us free soup while we waited for our meal.

Presentation-wise, it was simple but appetizing. The portion size was generous, especially for the price.

Overall, low key spot that served food done right. I'd give it a 4.5 out of 5 stars. Highly recommended for a casual lunch or a satisfying dinner!

Atmosphere is abuela’s house vibe!

This place is a hidden gem. The food was amazing and the waitress Odalys was friendly and kind and very attentive. This business is very underrated and needs more attention. The food is fresh and made to order. When you come here is chill vibes and the wait can be a little long but the end result is amazing and well worth the wait. We really did had a great time overall and the chef was super kind and friendly as well definitely talented and has a passion for her food because you can taste it in every bite.

My experience was left on their Facebook page however, they don’t take great criticism so they erased it and blocked me!
So here I have to tell you first of all, I went with My family, we were served an hour and a half after we got there the place was not even packed It’s like a two-man show in this place. The people are nice however the service sucks. They take forever just To give you what you ordered then the food on top of that comes back cold. You can’t even enjoy to try to eat authentic food as they say. When the food came since it took so long, I didn’t even have the energy to fight. I just tried to eat it. The steak was so chewy Also very acidity. The beans were so watery. We won’t even talk about the soup. The owner keeps trying to reinvent herself in this business and keeps failing. This is not my first time here this is my second time here the first time was the same issue, but I said maybe it was because they were just starting out or something. I wasn’t even sure so I gave them the benefit of the doubt but to come a second time and have a worst experience. It’s not worth it and this business will not succeed if the owner doesn’t take the criticism and fixes the problem. This is the type of business that Gordon Ramsay should go look at and shut it down because it really sucks.

I had a fantastic meal at Antojitos Navideños in Lakeland! I ordered the bistec encebollado, white rice, pink beans and salad lunch special! and it was delicious—the steak was tender and topped with perfectly caramelized onions. What made the experience truly unique was the charming Christmas decor. It added a festive touch that made the meal feel extra special, like a holiday celebration all year round! Plus, the white rice and beans on the side completed the meal perfectly.

Been to this place when it first open and it was great so I decided to buy take out yesterday, and I was very disappointed
I paid +$70 for 2 plates of Chinese Food and when I got home and opened the foam trays the food wouldn’t even be enough for a toddler. With that aside when I tasted the tostones you can tell they were re-fried with how much oil and soggy they were. I was truly dissatisfied.

The food was good, but unfortunately the service was very poor. The staff was inattentive and the overall experience was slow and disappointing. What bothered me the most was that they automatically added an 18% tip to the bill, even though the service didn’t deserve it. I believe tips should be earned, not forced. I won’t be coming back.

Everything was great but it took forever to get us are food. It was extremely slow and they had started giving others that came after me there food before me. If you can hold up on wating for hours on end then so be it. I'm not going to keep wating for food to come when I have things to do after eating. There food is great but overpriced as well.
