Unfortunately we came on Veterans day and the place was packed with old people to get their free meals! Service slow, food not as good as in the past.

First time back since their redo, it looks great!!! Rob and I went there tonight around 5ish pm. Yes we're seniors. Lol. Curtis was our server and he aimed to please. He checked on us often. The food was very good as always. Curtis made our time an event. Kudos to the Host who sat us and Curtis, our server and Sara, the Manager, who's great and we've known for many years. Applebees, Southside is our place. 10 stars if I could.

Very disappointed. I had my wife and I. I had the linguine with chicken parmesan. The linguine was old and the sauce tasted metallic. The tomato sauce on top of the chicken parm was more like tomato paste with Italian seasoning. Just thrown on top of it. There was only two waitresses and one of them was the bartender it took while to get service. Very disappointed.

It's a fine place. But it's just woefully understaffed. One front, one bartender, maybe two waitresses, I can only imagine the back was two people and this was at lunch on a weekend. Everyone did their best but it took over two hours by the end of dessert. Annoyances like a dirty wine glass - we just cope because we know the bartender probably is doing 4+ jobs.
This is a failure of management. Staff your restaurant.

Our waiter was very friendly, the service was perfect, but the place was very cold and there was no broccoli, anyway… what was very uncomfortable was that the air was too cold and all we wanted was to finish eating quickly and leave.
Great food, atmosphere and Charitdy was a great waitress!!! Always had our food out in a timely manner and filled our drinks before our prior ones were gone!

Tyler, our server, was Super Engaging and quick in checking back with us to make sure we had everything we needed. He was quick to have my dinner recooked to my specifications. He made our dining experience AMAZING!!
