This place has fantastic pretzels that are unfortunately ruined by poor customer service. Not all of the staff is rude and disrespectful, just the blonde girl with the ponytail who we interacted with on 2 occasions and single handedly ruined any chance of me returning.This particular young woman was so unnecessarily rude and had such a bad attitude that the only thing we could attribute it to was prejudice. We came here on a family vacation because our parents had previously been and raved about how amazing the pretzels were. We went and my dad ordered pretzels for everyone and had no issue. Myself, my mom and my sisters all went to the register for various items (I ordered another 2 pretzels, my mom got water and my sister got napkins) and all 3 of us commented on how the staff seemed rude unnecessarily. For context, my dad is white and the rest of us are black. We don’t typically care about race because we believe everyone is created in the image of God, but this was the first time we have felt uncomfortable in a situation like this. We were not loud, rude, disrespectful or disruptive. We are all professionals and carry ourselves as such.I work in customer service and understand people can have bad days and decided to brush it off. A few days later, my dad wanted to get pretzels again before we headed home and my sister and I returned to get them. The same girl was there along with a young man who was very pleasant, but this girl was once again rude UNNECESSARILY. That was the moment I decided to write this review because I don’t care what you may think about a certain race or certain people, you should at least ACT like you love your job with EVERY customer.It’s unfortunate because the pretzels are amazing, but I will not continue to give this business money and will not recommend this place until they work on their customer service, particularly this girl.

We made a special trip to the 98 north Walmart just to get a special pretzel. We ended up getting ham and cheese pockets and that was so tasty. The ham is almost an inch thick. The almond pretzel is to die for. Don't pass this place up if you are in this store. Delicious!

I usually stop and buy a delicious pretzel item at the Ben’s Soft Pretzels located in the Walmart, Lakeland US 98 and have been a regular customer a few years now. I’ve overlooked the somewhat annoying habits of the older male associate, particularly remarks he makes regarding Walmart, Burger King, and customers. As of today I’ve chosen to stop being a customer as his behavior today was unacceptable and unprofessional to say the least. The remarks he made to me and my grandchildren was uncalled for and to continue ridicule us to another customer, while we were in hearing distance was distasteful. I wanted to retaliate in same but refuse to mirror that sort of behavior in front of my grandchildren and their developing personalities. From now on I’ll take the time to travel further and buy our soft pretzels from Auntie Ann in the mall.

Pretzels were ok not anything to special. But the attitude of on of the guys working there was extremely unprofessional. We just came for some quick pretzels on the go, it took him 10 mins or more just to get them and he was acting very annoyed like we were interrupting in his work and being a burden. He would be annoyed with everything we asked him. All for a some half decent pretzels.

Stop to get lunch (tryna support a small business) and the gate was closed and I seen them in the back so I ask if he was opening soon and his response was wats the sing say…….so I looked all around and fnally seen the Sign and I it said 1:15pm (mind you its 1:50pm) and I told him and he seemed not to care ??♂️??♂️ So I sad I guess I’ll get lunch somewhere else and still he seemed not to care so I left…… #HorribleCustomerservice

Horrible customer service today Friday, August 5, 2022 around 11:45 am in Saint Augustine FL. My wife asked to the employee for an EMPTY soda paper cup and she made us pay $ 2 for it. Then I tried to buy some pretzels bites and I asked for a specific cup in front of the window, she refused to give it to me BECAUSE she "couldn't reach it".... at that point I walked away .....brutal service. I will pass on BEN's pretzels from now on

One of the best softpretzels I ever had.It was hot soft buttery and chewy and they were huge.They have alot of different dips you can get too and combos like 2 pretzels 2 dips and a drink.I'll be going back.Yum!!

This place is amazing! The pretzels are so soft and buttery, and the hint of salt completes it. They have so many options available. The seating outback is absolutely beautiful. It is like a fairy garden and has a lot of seating. 10/10 a must-eat restaurant!

These breadsticks are ok, BUT I don't appreciate being subjected to Right Wing propaganda while making a purchase. Note to guy selling Pretzels.. You're not clever and keep your anti-government comments to yourself.

I went to get two cinnamon pretzels, I got 1 cinnamon pretzel and one salted pretzel that was rebutted and then cinnamon on top. Eating it was like a game, would I get a mouthful of salty cinnamon pretzel or just cinnamon.
