Big Cypress Grill Restaurant & Tavern

We brought our family to the Grille for dinner tonight. Steak night did not disappoint. My husband and I each got the 8oz Filet. Our steaks were perfect. 3 in our party had the NY Strip. And my father in law had the Ruben. It was early and not busy. The only advise would be that all servers should be watching for customers needs. If a glass needs refills either help out or let their server know. A good server doesn't just watch their tables but makes sure all tables are tended. We will be back for sure.

Bar food kind of place portions could be larger services spotty it's almost like the waitresses and waiters don't get paid tips? It had a band there that was good, the Sand Spurs. Hours are quirky at times. Best sitting at the bar to get good service those food and drink. Off-season parking is good and the snowbirds come down it can be difficult to find a parking spot close. They do have handicap parking and access.

Big Cypress Grill Restaurant & Tavern has great food, friendly service, and a great atmosphere! The chicken sandwich was delicious and the French fries were pure perfection! Recommended!

Food sucks can't get consistency from them

Burgers were very greasy, so greasy we could wring out our bread and fill a cup with grease. House salad had brown wilted lettuce. Service mediocre at best, not attentitive.Temperature was freezing. It was so uncomfortable, we went outside, had to switch all to take out cintainers because we had ordered initially sitting at the bar. Also a fingernail was on the bar and we had to request bar to be wiped clean.

I am unable to do a survey due to the fact it has not been open lately.

Tonight they had Great entertainment by The Dukes. The food is great along with the prices. Great atmosphere. Everyone knows everyone. A great place.

Service was great and the food was delicious.

I can't really give much of a review on the food. I only had a basic house salad and small French fry. The lettuce was crisp & tasted fresh. I wasn't crazy about the French dressing. The fries were good but greasy. I had a ginger ale & usually love ginger ale. I didn't even drink half of the one I ordered. Most likely the brand and not their fault. I'll just see if I can bring my own from now on. Schweppes is the way to go 👍
I was there for a Valentine theme to decorate art. It was a lot of fun and gave me a chance to see the grill as I hadn't yet been up there. It's very spacious but extremely loud. And that was without music. They have a bar that I'd love to check out soon. It looked well equipped and stocked. The lady that waited on our table was great & I hate that I didn't get her name. I look forward to going back soon.

Big Billboard on 98 N says open to the public, but guard told us no way were we going and to turn around because it’s for residents only, if it is Residents only they need to remove the sign off of 98, the guard turned many cars around that were trying to go eat there.
