The lobster bisque was very good. There was not chunks of lobster but the flavor was great. The Banh Mi was sweet, did not care for the flavor. I would say a poor interpretation on a real Banh. The food is a slightly better version of Panera. The prices are reasonable, I would go back.

Sunday morning breakfast with my girlfriend was quite the hit, with her being a chai latte connoisseur, which she as pleased with. My rancheros breakfast was delicious and not too filling. Overall a pleasant experience and good service.

Black & Brew is a solid staple in downtown Lakeland. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and consistently good coffee. The food is fresh and creative, and it’s a perfect spot to meet up, get some work done, or just enjoy the local vibe. It’s not perfect every time—sometimes the wait can stretch a bit during peak hours—but overall, they deliver a quality experience that keeps me coming back. They’ve carved out a space that feels both professional and personal, and that’s not easy to do. Four stars for great service, strong coffee, and being a cornerstone of the Lakeland café scene.

What a great place to grab something to eat and drink! We had family meet up there and we all enjoyed it very much! The staff is amazingly wonderful and sweet. Ms. Mack was Soo nice. My aunt didn't want her coffee so strong and when she received it, she felt it was still strong; however, Ms Mack fixed it and my aunt loved it! Now, we know how to request it!
