Do not order the korean steak bowl. It was so bad. It was the worst thing I’ve ever tasted in my entire life. It was so bad I’m writing this review about it. It was also $17. I paid so much to be traumatized. The chow mein is weird little dry straws. The half egg is just mushed up hard boiled egg for Cobb salads. The Korean steak is cut up lean cuisine salisbury with mushroom bits. I wish I would’ve asked for a refund. I was in shell shock from the terror of that bowl. I left this restaurant nauseated and starved.

Cute little place to stop and grab a bite. The employees were nice and the food was great. Pricing is fantastic compared to most places!

We got fries and they were delicious! Reasonably priced too.

The staff is very rude. !!! We waited a really long time for chicken tenders and fries, and then was given attitude when asked why people was coming out, but my child still didn’t have her food, but people was coming out the door with fries and tenders and was told the oil Temperature dropped ! I was very dissatisfied in their service to be at a park. You would think they’d be friendly instead of rude and the chips was old. They were cold. They weren’t even warm those house chips and they were old and hard.

Decent food. They don't have straws for the drinks, though, which I think is kind of stupid.

Great place to get out with the kids and family. The trees and shade are beautiful. Lots to see and do. Very relaxing as well.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 stars
The Depot Café is the perfect stop after a day at the Florida Children’s Museum or exploring Bonnet Springs Park! We loved this place — the food, the staff, the vibe — all top-notch.

🍽️ I had the Buffalo Chicken Wrap, which was delicious, but the real star of the show? The Mac & Cheese. I’m talking creamy, dreamy, worth-writing-a-review-about good. You can also choose chips or fries, but trust me: get the mac. You won’t regret it.

🍪 The cookies are amazing too — especially the cream-filled sugar cookie. It’s soft, sweet, and totally next-level. There’s a great cookie deal if you grab three (and you should).

🪑 Seating inside is limited, and outdoor seating is available — so if you want to sit inside with little ones, just be patient and kind. We started outside and were lucky enough to grab a table when one opened up!

💬 The staff were super friendly and helpful even during the lunch rush.

🎯 This café is a hidden gem — affordable, delicious, and family-friendly. After you eat, the kids can run around on the Family Lawn or check out more of Bonnet Springs Park.

Highly recommend this spot to any family visiting the area!

I never faced racism before and I enjoyed my time at the Bloom Festival but when I went to the Depot cafeteria, I stood in line and the servers acted like I didn’t even exist and went and served the white family that came after me. Was I invisible? I wore a really bright purple shirt so I would be super obvious but I was just looked over. I just stood there waiting for them to take my order but instead they served the woman that came after me. They never made eye contact with me and I just walked off. Going to get lunch somewhere else. This was ridiculous. Thanks for ruining my stay at Bonnet Springs Park. The park and event was beautiful but the service at the Depot was rotten.

Having a cafe inside of the amazing Bonnet Springs Park is just brilliant! It makes it so easy to spend a majority of the day there and not feel like you have to leave if you want food/ get hungry.

I actually had not realized how many offerings they have here. You can get flatbread pizzas, sandwiches, salads, handspun ice cream and much more. We just wanted a snack so we got their house made chips and those were great.

The workers were beyond nice and I’m definitely wanting to come back and try some of their actual food. Plus, they have indoor and outdoor seating for whatever mood you may be in.

I’m not sure why it’s just called the Bonnet Springs Restaurant here but it does have signage coining it “The Depot” so if you hear that, they’re the same thing.

My friend and I came here for lunch after a hike in the park the other day. We both had the barbecue pork sandwiches. I had fries with mine She had macaroni and cheese and cole slaw. The food was good. Not great but good. Sufficient after you've been walking about for the morning. They also had fruit cups available of which I had one and it was very good.

The atmosphere is very relaxed. Staff is friendly.

The food is very very good, nothing to do to a classic museum food, we recommend the salad and the pulled pork.

Menu lacks product parity and is unclear. Poor problem resolution skills from staff. Also, menu is not consistent with online menu so if you plan your meal based on the menu here then be prepared to pick something else.

We came with a party of 4 children and 5 adults. Everyone's meals were delicious! Everything at the salad bar looked so fresh. Our one complaint was that the buffalo chicken wrap is served cold. I asked if we could warm it in the microwave, but they don't have one. So the manager offered to make her something else and the chicken sandwich we got instead was excellent! The kids meal is very reasonably priced ($4.99) and is even better because it comes with a small scoop of icecream, which you order after with your receipt as proof of purchase.
All the tables were being cleaned very promptly, and a very nice woman was delivering the made to order foods right to the tables.
We will not hesitate to utilize this food spot when we enjoy a day trip to Bonnet Springs!

I love the park, it's so awesome, nice place to just co.e unwind nd relax to clear your mind, nd just to walk around to admire God Creation. It's so beautiful and peaceful out here, and at the end of your walk, you got a good appetite, so go eat at the depot Cafe, nd have the grilled chicken salad, you will not go wrong, my sister live in plant City, nd we drove in a rain storm just to go have a salad from the, cus they are that good. Nd the folks that work there are so nice and treat you well. Well, go to the park nd have an awesome time, nd if you have little one. There's the children's museum right across the cafe, but all in all I give a 10%

Parking: Lots of parking alittle full on the weekends, but what isn't during the summer, right?

Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly all throughout the park, for big kids of all ages

This was the worse service. Cassandra was our icecream server. Everyone has always been OVERALLY Nice, welcoming and fair with their serving amount, given the cost. And I always take my girls weekly. But i felt rubbed this time. Got my usual 2 cups with 2 scoops and 1 cup with 1 scoop. She literally only scrapped the sides and called it a full scoop and charged me for it. Wont let me post a picture so did so separately.
