When I asked the people inside why they were closing at 9 and on Friday they just stared at me and turned the open sign off. Needles to say I will definitely not be going back i will find a new ice cream shop for my little ones
Our first visit today so we both tried the banana split and at first we thought a bit expensive compared to some but soon realized you get your money’s worth one banana split could feed two people We’ll definitely be back

Bruster's Real Ice Cream has long been a popular spot for many, offering delicious ice cream that keeps customers coming back. The shop is especially busy during warm evenings when the line often stretches into the parking lot, showing its popularity among locals. The menu features a variety of flavors, with some tasting more artificial than natural, but classics like chocolate and cookies and cream always satisfy. Customers praise the ice cream's real taste and the toppings being spread evenly, making for an enjoyable treat. The staff, including helpful and friendly employees, provide quick service with warm smiles, enhancing the overall experience. Visitors have enjoyed items like the turtle sundae and the Sea Salt Caramel Tofu, and many are eager to return, especially in nice weather when cravings hit. Despite some past concerns about portion sizes and behavior from staff, the ice cream remains delicious, and the shop continues to be a favorite in Lakeland. Hopefully, the management will address any issues to ensure a welcoming environment for all guests.
