My husband is Jamaican and wouldn’t recommend this food to anyone . He said that the food sent him to the toilet and will never eat there again. I’ve seen the place there for many years and thankful I never ate there. It just don’t look presentable at all.

I normally eat at the place. But I got it delivered. I asked for extra gravy. Didn't get extra extra extra sauce. I even paid for it. And didn't get it at all. It was dry. The rice wasn't cooked all the way. I got brown chicken it was so dry. And the dressing that I got was dry. Mac and cheese was all right I didn't even have the extra sauce I paid for put on the side. so I can pour it on myself. Supposably they put it on it and not on the side when you buy. They should change that rule because at least I could see that I paid for the extra sauce. I will never get anything delivered from there again. I will only dine-in from now on. They might be having new people cooking there. They need the old people back!!

First I called in my order and the female was very rude. I ordered the Rasta pasta, was told it was ready in 10 min, I got there in 10 min. Pasta was cooled not hot , fresh, or tasteful. I could have made that at home.

I don’t know what happen. The food is normally pretty good especially the stew chicken but this time I rarely had any rice on my plate. I literally felt the bottom of the plate when I put my spoon in. It was not even an inch off the plate. The Mac and cheese was not good as usual and the meat did not taste as usual. Must be new employees! I go to the food truck on 98 north located by the citgo for now on.

The place was very clean and the cornbread was very good. Ordered j*** chicken, white meat with curry gravy. After receiving the order I was told that the curry gravy cost an extra 50 cents. I was okay with paying the extra 50 cents but unfortunately I didn't have any cash. I was told that they could not put the 50 cents on the card so they were not happy that they could not charge me. The main reason for my disappointment was that when I got home I saw I got dark meat which instead of white meat. I will not be going back,

Girl at the frontis extremely disrespectful. Asked her a few questions about the food and she was being very short acting as if she did not want to be there .No type of customer service. I do not recommend I will never set foot in that place again.

Excellent food, everything has its own taste. Mac & cheese taste like Mac and cheese, cabbage taste like cabbage, pepper steak taste like pepper steak and my favorite red velvet taste like red velvet. My spouse chitterlings didn’t smell, like no odor at all and was tasteful! It’s a must have whenever you come into Lakeland. Best Caribbean cuisine place in Polk county. Most definitely coming back.

Zach1st time here. I'm tired so I keep short for NOW. I ordered at OX TAIL, super Great, tender, meat falling off bone right along with Chitlins. I want and deserve a Refund. They did an obvious horrible job of cleaning them. Stank not what they should be if cleaned properl. disappointed they got this so lazily stank equal to minus zero and the oxtail was a 5. That makes two but the woman taking orders was great and the sides were awesome.
