Not worth the wait. Ordered a Garlic Chicken sandwich. Went through 1 line to order then had to loop around and get in another line to pick up my order. When I went to the pickup window after waiting almost 10 minutes in line, the counter staff just looked at me and didn't know what I was picking up. After I told her, then they started fixing the order. Chicken was luke warm and the fries (which are usually good at other locations) were cold and limp. Will not be back to this location. Just not worth the almost 20 minute wait.

I went here for a late night pregnancy craving. I didn't mind waiting for fresh food. However, it tastes like they have never changed the oil. I was also left with a strange aspirin like after taste. Food safety is important to me.

I would never return to this establishment under any circumstances. While the lady at the window was pleasant and hospitable, the food was subpar. I requested that my food be cooked to order. After a considerable wait, I was instructed to move to the next window. Despite my courteous request, my food arrived cold and soggy, rendering it inedible. I promptly retrieved my food from the window and resolved never to return.

The food was fresh and came out fast too. Definitely one of the best experiences I’ve had at a Checkers!

The Checkers and Rally’s in South Lakeland is easily one of the best fast food spots around. The food was hot, fresh, and perfectly cooked — the fries were crispy and the burgers were juicy and flavorful. The place was clean and well-kept, and Madison provided amazing customer service with a friendly attitude and quick service. I’ll definitely be coming back!
