This beautiful hidden gem near downtown Lakeland is the perfect brunch spot. Located inside a 1920s Tudor style home is this unique menu full of flavor and life. I was pleasantly surprised by the portion size, the plating, and the taste. Fragrant, Fun, and Tasty. I would absolutely come back.

Cob & Pen is a great spot for craft beer and ciders and upscale bar food. Their wings (bourbon BBQ and lemon pepper flavors especially) along with their garlic fries are to die for. Their mushroom Risotto is also wonderful (and gluten free!) and with a rotating selection of seasonal beer and cider, their outdoor lawn with games, and plenty of ambience inside there is a lot to love about this place!

To bad my food ended up being bad because the outdoor seating was very nice and relaxing. My daughter’s fish and chips was good and drinks weren’t too bad. But when a manager doesn’t care about issues with food it means I won’t be back sadly. It takes more than just removing the cost of the meal from the tab you need to show the customer you care by addressing the issue with them it is important too. Never saw or spoke to them.
***Note the gentleman waiter we had was very kind and understanding.

We hosted our baby shower at Cob & Pen and it was perfect! The front rooms were great for our event and the lawn allowed for beautiful outside space. Paige (their event coordinator) was so friendly, accommodating, and made sure everything went so smooth on the day of our shower. Food was delicious and service was amazing. Highly recommend hosting your next event at Cob & Pen!
