Frescos Southern Kitchen & Bar is a top-notch place for brunch or any meal. The decor, ambiance, and service are excellent. Sonny, the server and bartender, is known for his great menu suggestions and phenomenal service, making many customers come back. The fried chicken and waffle with chorizo gravy is a must-try dish, even if the egg seems unnecessary. The Fresco Egg Rolls and Shrimp Scampi are delicious, as are the Short Ribs. Guests recommend saving room for the amazing Creme Brule for dessert. The monkey bread is a must-try item, and the outdoor seating is perfect for enjoying the market. Although there have been some comments about the hanger steak being chewy, the overall food and service are received positively. Don't miss out on this downtown Lakeland gem!
