Went for lunch around 2 pm wasn't too busy , service and waitress was great, food was tasty. Ordered the Chicken egg rolls very delicious, then got their coleslaw and Philly Cheese Steak sandwich very good and great flavor they have nice desserts. I got a season flavor mini cup of Pumpkin Mousse. You could take kids but make sure they have something to occupy them. They have a bar area and a room if you have a special thing , definitely planning on going back to try a few other dishes I seen people ordered. Great for a special occasion or date night
The bartender Trinity was wonderful, accommodating and friendly. She kept up a light and fun conversation, all the while expertly managing her bar. I often travel solo, and this was one of those trips. It’s wonderful to walk into an establishment and immediately feel welcomed and comfortable. When my travels bring me by Lakeland again, I will surely revisit this restaurant!
Frescos specializes in southern kitchen and is well known for their savory breakfast and brunches. The bottomless mimosas for $15 per person until 2pm is great deal. You can have up to 6 mimosas and for my preference the best flavor is the blood orange.

They have a tent today at the Lake Mirror Concours in Lakeland… and they catered food for the judges… as a judge my duties took me past the time they were obliged to provide food, not only did they graciously attend to me and my son (judging with me), the food was great! Great folks!

We chose Fresco’s based on the inviting images on their website and the varied menu that seemed perfect for our party of eight. Unfortunately, the reality was far from what was advertised. The fried green tomato appetizer was dry and overcooked, and the fried green tomato sandwich was even worse—virtually inedible. The chicken salad came in a generous portion, but the chicken itself was clearly from a bag of frozen, razor-thin patties—dry and flavorless. Service was equally underwhelming. Despite having a lunch reservation and being seated on time, our waiter rushed us, stating that if we didn’t order quickly, the kitchen would close. When we mentioned the poor quality of the food, he just shrugged and said there wasn't much that could be done because the kitchen was now closed. The atmosphere left much to be desired. The restaurant felt dated and tired. As we passed the kitchen on our way to the unkempt restrooms, we couldn’t help but notice a wall stacked with prepackaged and canned goods—not exactly confidence-inspiring when it comes to “fresh” food. After settling our tab, we left and walked a few doors down to Palace Pizza, where we enjoyed a fantastic lunch on their patio, served by a warm, attentive staff and a great manager. We won’t be returning to Fresco’s and can’t recommend it to others.
We were visiting on a day when it was slightly cool but beautiful weather so we ate outside. That was a nice choice but it seemed we may have been forgotten for a little while. Eventually, after going in to inquire, we got our order and the food was delicious! The appetizer came with the food and it was cold but the manager came and discussed it with us and took it off the bill. Next time I would love to check out the inside!
We attended a gorgeous wedding in the lower level speakeasy. Incredible food from crab cakes, cheeses and dips for appetizers. Great main meal of tender beef, chicken, some awesome Brussel sprouts swimming in bacon jam, and a fresh salad. In lieu of a big wedding cake, we devoured the huge cart of 10 different mini desserts from candy cane petit fours, mini chocolate cannoli, mini brownies covered in mini chocolate chips, a coconut bar, a yellow cake snowman, and more. The couple selected their signature drinks and the menu has several others. The venue is organized, with great acoustics, and organized set and tables. the bar tenders are quick and funny. Venue accessed via elevator or stairs. Wheel chair access parking in paid street parking with curb cuts at corners. Wheel chair access men and women restrooms. Great venue in lower level speakeasy format, no windows.
The omelettes are amazing 3 Eggs and your choice of 5 Ingredients. Delicious!

If you like OK food with a side of attitude, this is your place. As mentioned in the previous reviews, the manager is extremely rude and I’m sure that rubs off on other staff members. I would skip the hassle of being disappointed here and go down the street to Palace Pizza or Harry’s if you’re coming to downtown Lakeland.
Great food!
