Very delicious food but pricey 16.00 for hamburger fries drink. But very homemade and the hamburger was not a frozen patty. Everything my family got at our table was delicious..

The food was OK (ribs had very little smoke), and the sides were unexciting. The prices were definitely higher than would be expected for having counter service and bussing own table. The counter person seemed irritated that we were even there.

Ordered the pulled pork sandwich and this is how much fat was in my sandwich. Wasn't impressed and definitely won't be back.

I want to start this off with the bad so I can end with the good. One of the doors was locked. Turns out, the other door was unlocked. This might seem an odd thing to point out, but if I thought the restaurant was closed, then others probably thought so too. We almost left, thinking the place was closed.

You order first at the counter and you have to get your plastic utensils at one of the self-service stations where you get your drinks. I find this odd because when you look at the restaurant, you think it's a finer dining establishment and not self-serve. Also, there are no trash cans. If you have trash, you leave it on your table and one of the employees comes and picks it up. That is my list of the "bad" things. Now the good...

Food was good. We had the fish and chips and a meat sampler. It was brought out to us SUPER quick. We didn't have to wait for more than 5 minutes. The staff was friendly, came by periodically to check on things, and even tried to suggestive sell some ice cream, which if I was the business owner then I would be very happy to hear that employees (possibly the manager...not sure, didn't ask) are doing that.

They were also cleaning constantly. The place looked spotless. I don't know what the bathrooms looked like, but if they were anything like the rest of the restaurant then it was probably clean too. Overall, I would go there again.

There were six of us for a late lunch, to celebrate my husband's 82nd birthday. It was wonderful lunch, between the six of us, we had a lobster grilled cheese, a smash burger, lobster rolls, sweet potato fries, baked beans and fish and chips. Naturally, ice cream for dessert. Everything was delicious and all the people working here were so kind and efficient. This was our first time here, but we will definitely be back. Thank you Gaskins!

Unfortunately, our dinner was a very bad experience and I have ate at this restaurant numerous times. We had a large party and our food came out quite a bit apart from each other, some were almost done while others getting their food. They were out of cheese and the burgers were not good (falling apart/ sloppy) and the brisket was chewy/ flavorless. This has not been my experience in the past. However, for an employee to rudely walk up during the end of our meal and ask who left a one star review and what they did so bad to deserve it is ridiculous and is mainly why I am leaving this review. The only positive is the girl at the register was nice. I can’t say with this that I would want to come back as this is not how you treat customers and extremely unprofessional.

Could be an off day for the place but on thid day i Had the brisket sandwich and I've never had brisket so dry before. Wife had the Gettho lobster which we were told has garlic. Garlic must have been on vacation because there was no garlic. Kids had chicken nuggets and fries and again very dry.

Horrible food and unhelpful staff. Specifically the older lady working the floor. She was extremely rude and condescending. Walked up to our table and was extremely confrontational. Completely unprofessional.

The wife and I celebrated our anniversary by dining in at Gaskins for the 1st time.
This place is very spacious and offers a semi self service for condiments and drinks. Their menu selections are not confusing and decently priced for the amount and quality of the food.
My wife had the Lobster Roll which she absolutely loved and I had the Clam Strip/Haddock Combo. Both came with sides of choice and were cooked to perfection.
We will definitely be back and recommend Gaskins to our friends. BTW, the staff is very helpful and friendly.. Enjoy !!

Delicious food but if prefer a little more seasoning on the brisket. I’d definitely recommend and eat here again.
