Gator's Dockside Highland City

The food at Gator’s Dockside Highland City was absolutely amazing! Everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The service was equally impressive—attentive, friendly, and made us feel so welcome. Highly recommend this place for great food and atmosphere!

Food was ok. We had 2 cheeseburgers with fries and soda. The bill came to $48 with tip.

2 cheeseburgers and water for $38 which is fine if this was an exceptional burger but it wasn't. The burgers were big but not very good. I bought a package of ground sirloin from Walmart that made 2 huge burgers for $6 and they were excellent. I just don't get why restaurants can't use Walmart meat or Winn Dixie meat? I also don't understand why restaurants can't use pepperidge farm sesame seed buns? I made 2 delicious burgers at home with excellent cheddar cheese for $7 so if they would just do that for $30 the profit is $23. The fries were just ok. Not close to culver's. Really tired of expensive restaurants with subpar food! Ever since COVID most restaurants have go downhill.

I sat at the Bar. The bartender was very nice. I ordered a Diet Coke. Usually, if you're not drinking, the bartender will be less attentive. In this case she was awesome.

Wings were great!

Good luck getting served. We sat for over 10 minutes, watching the servers just stand at the register talking. No one even acknowledged us. After we were walking out, then one standing by the register went to check the table. Mind you, she saw us sit down and looked at us several times before we finally left. We were literally four booths feom them. I do not see this place in my future again.

Food is always great! I've noticed recently though sometimes the portions are starting to get smaller with the same price tag.
