I did it to myself again, wandering into another Chinese buffet because I just can't seem to resist them, but at least Hibachi Buffet in Lakeland made the choice feel worthwhile. The dining room was clean and well stocked when I arrived around 1:30pm, and I managed to keep my lunch mostly focused on proteins while still sampling a bit of everything. Several steam tables were full and turning over nicely, and the sushi display was better than I expected for a weekday afternoon....

Very good spot for the money. The food was very clean and fresh, consistently good. The sitting area was also clean. I see some of the negative reviews on here but my experience was very good. Highly recommend.

While a simple looking restaurant in a shopping plaza, this place exceeded my every expectation when it comes to the food and service provided. Maybe we came on a good night, can't say for sure. But the food was well above average and I tried almost everything provided. It was all fresh and delicious. Our waitress had our drinks filled by the time we came back from getting more food and she checked up on us enough to show me that they care enough about the customer experience...
