First time coming here after having it saved for ages! Did not disappoint! The staff was friendly, the place was very clean, and the vibes were pristine! My son devoured the cheese bagel and I got the house cold brew coffee. This place was awesome

Came in for coffee and breakfast. Didn't like the maple spice flavor and asked for a different iced coffee. 85% sure I saw the chunky guy with the beard spit in my coffee, and he looked annoyed to remake it. I tipped $5 because he wouldn't take payment for it, and I did not drink it. I bought one to go and made sure to watch him. At the moment I thought he spit in it, his coworker made a face and said something to him, and after I tipped $5 for the coffee he started at me while I walked away with it. As someone with a history of working in food service I am fairly certain from body language and mood, of the accusation I have just made. If you are a manager reading this, please review the cameras around 8:30-9am.

Can’t believe I consider myself a local and hadn’t had coffee here yet! It was delicious (and I tend to be a coffee snob) the bagel was also super good and the vibes feel like if you’re dinning at your grandpas house while he plays his records. I genuinely enjoyed my visit. And getting served in a glass jar instead of a plastic cup was awesome!

Absolutely a true gem of a coffee shop, my cinnamon iced latte was absolutely delicious. I also ordered a piece of their quiche and it wasn't dry and was super flavorful. I will be back again for the great coffee, food, and service!
Update: the girls who work here are fantastic and are a reason I keep trying Hill Crest. Every time I'm lucky enough to come in when they work, it's truly a night and day difference to the other days, and it's for the better.

Charming and cozy atmosphere, making it a great spot for locals. The four-cheese quiche was absolutely delicious, and my maple spice latte was enjoyable.
However, the customer service left something to be desired. Upon entering, we weren’t greeted, and when I asked about flavor options, the staff seemed unsure and not particularly eager to help.
One employee had to step in to answer my question, and when I asked for recommendations, they weren’t very engaged or informative. They weren’t rude, just not as friendly or welcoming as I would expect in a customer-facing role.
Overall, the food and drinks were great, but the service could use improvement. A little more enthusiasm and willingness to engage with first-time visitors would make the experience much better.
