Gross the most disgusting tasting pulled pork sandwich I have ever tasted. No pickle means don’t put it on the plate. They did anyways but both me and the other person with me got meat that tasted like it was old or came out of a can. Absolutely the worst bbq I have ever tasted. How do you mess up pulled pork?

This is our first visit to Jimbos Pit Bar BQ. I ordered the sliced pork sandwich, and my husband ordered the mixed meat plate, which consisted of sausage, ham, and beef. The food was good, but their BBQ sauce is very mild, so that was a little disappointing. And, this restaurant was quite crowded, so it appears that many customers are happy to dine here. :)

We have been coming here for years. Great barbecue and excellent service. Today (7/27/24) we went for lunch. There was a blind, elderly gentleman sitting inside. He had just finished his meal. The owner came over and took his card, but verified with him that he had handed him the correct card before running it. After a few minutes, the owner and one of his employees asked him what kind of car would he picking him up. They kept an eye out for the car and then proceeded to walk him out safely when it arrived. This is a level of care and service you can’t find at chains and a huge reason we will continue to eat at Jimbo’s! You all are great!!!

Beef sandwich this time and last time were both Pulverized Meat and not sliced. Been eating at Tampa location for 35 years. Always great there. I eat same thing every time. Lakeland sandwich is a lot smaller in size. So disappointed.
