Amazing. I love cats. My mom took me here and I loved the cafe with the cats!
My 7 year old had her bday party here! Such a great experience, everything couldn’t have been any better. Snacks were on point and prices for everything were very reasonable!Staff were amazing and the owner was very responsive! Highly recommended for any bday/special event
Loved petting the kitties but didn't care for the bagel. Tea is ok though. Expensive to pet the cats.
Nice place, beautiful soft and clean kitties! My kids loved it!
The cafe is worth going to even without a reservation for cat time. The coffee, food and atmosphere are great. They have board games and puzzles in the cafe area separate from the car visiting rooms in the back.
Took my daughter there a few weeks ago because she's been wanting to go and I needed to spend time with her. And it was l lovely It was very comfortable and comfortable we truly loved it, there cats a so cute and they welcome you right when you go in to see them. Definitely would recommend this especially for something to spend time with your young teens . I will go back to see them and try a brownie next time.
I loved my experience here. I stopped by to have breakfast with the kitties. I wasn’t sure what to expect since this was my first time at a place like this, but Cindy, the owner was so welcoming and friendly. She made me the best bagel sandwich and hot chocolate. All the kitties were so sweet, and well taken care of. Really made my day. I will definitely come back, next time with my daughter because she’s a big cat girl! Thank you for a wonderful experience.
Such a wonderful experience! The place is run by the sweetest woman, and the whole space feels so welcoming and cozy. The cats are the absolute sweetest, and the space is even baby/kid friendly, which made our visit extra special. When we went, the cat we adopted—Jazzie—immediately crawled into the car seat with our 4-month-old son, and we fell in love with her right then and there. The adoption process was so easy and smooth, and you can tell how much care and love goes into both the cats and the people who visit. I can’t recommend this place enough—whether you’re looking to adopt or just want to spend some time in a happy, relaxing space with adorable cats, this is a great place for that!
Odd experience. Felt like I had wandered in to a space where I was not welcome. The front desk lady and kitties were nice, but the other person there that I assume was an owner or manager went out of their way to avoid my daughter and I. After talking another guests ear off about potentially adopting, she went to working and giving orders to the other workers. No hello or even a head nod to acknowledge we existed. The shift in energy seemed like a clear invitation to leave, which we did shortly after. They closed an hour later so I'm still uncertain why we were given this kind of energy.
Super fun laid back experience! Me and my daughter enjoyed our girls date here

Everyone is so sweet and welcoming! The food was comforting and delicious, it really felt like walking into your best friend's house who has a bunch of cute cats. I'm definitely coming back. Thank you!!
We had a very pleasant experience. I went with my daughter and my granddaughter and wife. The cats were friendly and nice, the facility was clean and unlike most places with cats, there was absolutely no litter box odor. We ate sandwich/ fingerfoods at a table outside of the cat area. We will go again !!!
loved it here! This is the nicest smelling cat cafe i’ve ever been to. Couldn’t even tell there were cats if you didn’t see them. We had fun with the cats and then sat in the cafe area and did a puzzle and talked for an hour. The chai tea was really good too.
this might be a long one, so bear with me. there’s no amount of words in any language to describe how much i love the kitty cat lounge, but it would definitely be more than 5 stars. i’ve been coming to the kcl since september of 2024 and i became a volunteer for the kitty room in October 2024 (best decision ive ever made). if i had known how amazing i feel when im here, i would’ve started coming A LOT sooner.
1) i have to talk about the employees first. no matter who is working, ive always been met with love, kindness, and acceptance. anytime im having a rough day, i come hang out with Cindy (the owner) and the girls, and i feel so much better. all of the employees i’ve met have been so, SO terrific.
2) the community this little “home” creates is astonishing. i’m here about 2-4 times a week, and my favorite thing while im here is watching the community come together. while you’re at the lounge, you’re not a stranger to anyone. the second you walk in the front door, you’re family. no matter who you are. i love the way people just randomly chime into our group discussions!
3) the entire lounge is in the style of a midcentury home. it reminds me of my grandmothers houses growing up. walking in is just a wave of nostalgia for me, and makes me instantly calmed and relaxed. i love the gallery wall in the living room with artwork from local artists!
4) all of the foods and drinks come from small businesses in the lakeland area. i’ve tried pretty much everything on the entire menu except the bagels, and just thinking of all of the different flavor profiles makes my mouth water. teas, juices, coffees - all so good. all the pastries though? i dream about them. the sourdough croissant with apple butter is to die for.
5) the cats!!!! i love them. i don’t think i’ve ever been in the cat room and met a cat/kitten i didn’t like. there’s some lap cats, some playful cats, and some solitary babies too. there’s quite literally a cat for everyone here. kcl partners with a local rescue, Saving Paws, to get all their kitties, and they all are adoptable! even if you’re allergic, you can still hang out in the lobby as it’s a separate ventilation. kitty time is great therapy..
all this goes to say, the kitty cat lounge is one of the best businesses i’ve ever had the privilege to visit. i adore it here.
Wonderful place for cat lovers to meet at and share a drink or treat while interacting with adorable cats and kittens that are available for adoption. The cats are in a separate room from where the food is served and games can be shared together.
