Friendly and fun vibe. Service was fast and food was pretty good. I ordered the jalapeño soup (weekend option) amd it was delicious. The bacon cheeseburger was also really good. The place is decorated with cute seafood art. I recommend going during happy hour for the $10 burger. And I would definitely order the jalapeño soup again!

The owner of this diner contacted two young ladies saying that he needed his windows painted for Christmas as soon as possible and also included that he had no budget. These two young ladies then ended up taking time out of their 9 to 5 jobs (during Christmas mind you) to go paint this man’s windows for him, and then when they got done they chose to charge him the regular price they charge everyone despite it needing to be done in a day and the fact that they had to take time out of their personal jobs to do this job for him, he then took it upon himself to start belittling them, wagging his finger in their face and refusing to pay them in front of his whole lobby of paying guests. Metro diner either needs to wash the paint off their windows THEMSELVES or pay these two young ladies for their work immediately. This is disgusting behavior especially around the holiday season. The owner should be ashamed of himself.

It’s a shame when some local artists spend there time and talent doing Christmas window paintings for a business only to the business mock them in front of customers and refuse to pay them. Might reconsider spending your money at this establishment.

We had plans to visit this restaurant, but canceled them after learning about how the owner treated two young artists who were contracted to create Christmas window art.
How a business treats people it works with matters. Choosing not to pay young artists for completed work speaks volumes about the integrity and values behind the operation. Based on this experience alone, we decided not to support this restaurant.
The owner should be ashamed of themselves. two young girls were hired to paint Christmas mural on the windows of the restaurant and the owner ended up treating artists horrible manner in front of customers and staff which was completely unacceptable. I will never step foot in this establishment until the owner makes it right.

Brianna was amazing! She went above and beyond and checked on us just enough. We ordered the huevos rancheros, pancakes, chicken salad croissant and everything was DELICIOUS! The pancakes are huge!

We have came here multiple times. Food is always hot and fresh! Bone in chicken with waffles with strawberry butter has been pur favorite but we been trying other things to. The food is always a massive amount pf food for the price you pay. Its pretty messy food sometimes but so worth it! And the server in the mornings is amazing! She has multiple peoples orders memorized. Takes time to talk and tell you about the new food items. She actually pays attention to everything including when drinks are low or even watered down! Its a great atmosphere with amazing food!
