Mitchell's Coffee House

It was moderately busy this morning but the wait was long due to equipment problems. The egg bite was not warm at all. The sweater weather coffee that I was super excited to try had a very odd fake taste. I’m not sure what is even causing it but it’s not good. The atmosphere however is wonderful, it’s a beautiful open space. The back of the restaurant has an abundance of tables and even a few tables outside. The employees are busy but polite.

We stopped at Mitchell’s for a quick coffee and cinnamon roll.
My son also had a really nice breakfast too. The staff were so welcoming, accommodating and serviced some delicious coffee and the food was excellent. A very charming, relaxing and welcoming coffee house you will not find this side of Lake Mirror.
A really nice mix of customers too sitting, eating chilling and working at tables.
We will definitely be returning soon.

Service was Ok, food ok. I asked for an omelette,but was blend, toast were just regular bread from a bag and not even toasted, just warm. Coffee was good. I didn't try the croissant maybe they were better.

Chicken salad wrap was delicious...as well as the salted caramel iced coffee! Staff was friendly and welcoming!

What the heck happened to Mitchell’s?! Cold gumbo & dry wimpy BLT. Empty dining room. I had to ask for mayo for the stale bread on my sandwich that had barely anything in it, and had to ask for my room temperature bowl of soup to be reheated. This is NOT the Mitchell’s I used to know. So sad.

I have been coming to Mitchells for 20+ years. I love to support local, but this place has truly gone downhill over the years. I've been ordering my go to lunch for years, a turkey sandwich on a spinach wrap. Unfortunately, this is what I've been served the last several times. This time, I finally had to write a review. This one isn't even a spinach wrap and it was hard as a rock. Also, there is barely one full slice of turkey on it. For almost $10, this is ridiculous. I keep telling myself I won't be back, but like I said, I love to support local. Not this place anymore, unfortunately.

This place is like “Cheers” but for a local coffee shop! The girls are always sweet and remember your name. Food is good! Coffee is great!

Loved it here! Staff is friendly and helped us out when we were deciding what to get. All of the pastries looked fresh! Has accommodations for those that dont consume cows milk, and a very calm and peaceful atmosphere to enjoy a cup of coffee and some cookies with your family.

Lakeland staple for getting coffee in a unique homely environment. Not only are they the oldest coffee house in Lakeland where they're constantly making improvements to their brand and quality. There baked goods are made in house and quite tasty. They offer a variety of specialty grade coffees to appease a coffee drinker at every level. Ample space in a relaxing environment so pull up a chair get a snack and get a couple delicious caffeinated beverages. If I'm in Lakeland I'm pretty much guaranteed to be stopping here.
