My order came completely incorrect cold and missing items!
To start, this was the best Moe’s experience I’ve had in a *long* time thanks to Dalton and Andrea. I could actually say it’s the only good experience I’ve had in a long time.
My brother and I went to get burritos Sunday evening an hour before close and I was expecting to be disappointed as I usually am. The past 7-8 times I’ve come here, they’ve been out of either chicken or steak, and usually multiple toppings. And that’s a problem as I come to Moe’s for loaded Homewreckers (something you can’t get at chipotle, etc.) and get chicken + steak and almost all the toppings added.
I almost walked out when I saw they were out of steak, but Dalton was welcoming and Andrea apologized for being sold out of items. So I stayed and I’m very happy I did. Dalton rolled the fullest, tightest Homewrecker I’ve had in YEARS and Andrea made sure we had plenty of salsa (even though it was in the back).
While the service was AMAZING and the workers should be commended for recouping my business, it’s very apparent that the owner of this franchise location couldn’t care less about the atmosphere and making sure the store is fully staffed. The walls show where old art pieces used to hang and the tables and store seems to be in a state of decay. On top of it seeming like they only ever had 2-3 employees working, when they used to have 5-6 people during its heyday. This makes more work for less employees and results in the issues I listed before: sold out/not prepared toppings and ingredients.
I’d suspect these issues have something to do with the franchise owner, Anthony Friel, and his attitude towards paying employees. In 2023 he didn’t pay Moe’s employees for several weeks because he “had problems with his bank” and was upset when employees closed the stores. Sorry, but I agree with the workers. You don’t pay workers, they don’t have to work for you. That’s literally the agreement and the ONLY reason people go to work… very obviously an internal culture issue and not one due to poor talent or the products Moe’s corporation markets. And I know it’s Friel, because every Moe’s outside of central FL is DANK and always packed with business. This location is a ghost town comparatively.
5 stars for service, 3 for food (taste is good, availability is NOT), and 3 for atmosphere.

Worst Moes I have ever been to. No lighting around building which isn’t that big a deal but it’s obvious the management lacks at managing. No ice for my drinks, they had to take my cup in back for ice. Dr. Pepper out. No salsa , had to ask and got the no flavor green, they said they had nothing else. Had the bowl, rice was not hot and was clumpy. In fact nothing was hot but rather like warm. No way they can be temping the product and I am wishing I had not eaten it as I am now worried about getting sick. Taste was good but would have been great if it had been hot. Very disappointed and will never come back to this location. I did not come in near closing either, I came in before 8.

Limited choices for nachos, I ordered seasoned chicken, was given a meat that definitely wasn't chicken with a hard skin, stringy and tasted like old grease. There are times they sell nachos but have no chips, and customers pay regular price

This place has gone incredibly downhill. There is one hard working manager who is there from time to time. Shout out to her.
The AC doesn’t work, and she said they won’t get it fixed. It’s a shadow of what it used to be. It’s fast food, I get it. But it used to be a friendly place with a bright atmosphere, good music. It’s dirty every time I go in. Like nasty. Whoever owns this spot needs to tighten up majorly. Bring it back to what it was! Make Moes Great again!

I’d give this place a 0 if I could .
Tuesday at 6 One person in the building . Sign says no chips and salsa , that’s fine .
What it should have said was bad service pre close the grill at 7pm . All the line food was either old or empty . There was no steak I got charged for steak , old burnt hard rice , old burnt veggies and the big guy had not one but 2 pieces of hair on my food . Disgusting

The staff here is always very friendly, but the entire place is consistently dirty. The manager helped me, and didn't change gloves between making my food, checking me out, and then making food again.

Restaurantji Recommends
We shared the homewrecker burrito, a side of queso and a side of guacamole. It was delicious, fresh, and packed with flavor!

Terrible at best. This restaurant is always hot and dirty. Unclean tables, trash receptacles always full, and understaffed. A fire apparently took out the ability to make chips. No option and no reduction in cost. This is similar to the last time there also. Simply not returning, and recommending others to steer clear. Expensive and not worth it.

I love Moe’s, but this particular location is terrible. I have tried to give it a chance so many times and it’s dirty, AC never works, they’re constantly out of everything and the quality of the food is terrible especially if you mobile order. Their owners/management need to step it up or close their doors. It’s a waste of money every time I go here and it’s unfortunate.

One of the burritos didn't even have meat in it. Just rice, lettuce, and a few random beans. It was a mess. The chips? Straight up tasted like old fryer grease- hard, overcooked, and stale. No salsa on the side either, which is usually a given.
Honestly, it felt like nobody cared making this order. I tipped $8.50 because I appreciate the driver, but the food was a total letdown.
