Ovation Bistro & Bar, Lakeland

This was our first time at Ovation Bistro in Lakeland. The staff, especially Robbie, were personable and attentive throughout our visit. Food was very good. The burger was flavorful and a good size for lunch menu . The establishment was darker inside than we would have liked .

Tyler was great! The food was amazing and the atmosphere was relaxing. We’ll definitely be back. Tyler made our first experience wonderful with his wit and charm.

Disappointing. Pork chop and asparagus was over cooked and so was their pretzel bread. The server was great and was very apologetic regarding the food. Not once the manager came to our table to speak to us. We definitely won't be back.

I will start by saying, it was a Monday evening at 7pm. I took my gf for her birthday, and made a reservation. I could have taken 40 ppl and we could have all sat immediately. There were only 2 other tables sat and nobody at the bar. Wine racks on the wall were completely empty, wall at our booth was gross and had food spots all over, music didn't match atmosphere, and prices were too high. The food was very good though, and we loved the French soup and our recommended specialty cocktail.

This place has the best smoked wings in Lakeland! What makes this place better is the SERVICE. We always sit at the bar with Tiffany or Robbie. My wife and I feel welcomed anytime we go and they’re working. Love them!

Malloy was an amazing server

Service was good.
Food was not.
Not fond of the burgers or the ribs.
They used to have a good bread, now its sour.
Ribs tasted like they were left in the fridge for days, then thrown on grill for a bit before serving.
No intention of ever going back.
Stomach still queasy four hours later.

The service at Ovation Bistro was friendly and attentive, which I really appreciated. The overall flavor of the food was actually pretty good, but unfortunately the execution fell short.
The chicken was noticeably overcooked, making it tough and dry. The ribs and brisket were also quite dry, which really took away from the experience. With better preparation, this could’ve been a much more enjoyable meal. Disappointed given the potential.

First time here with the family and we loved the buffalo dip. I would highly recommend that appetizer. The main courses were good too..the only knock on the food were the mashed potatoes were cold.

The service was outstanding. My family never had to ask for a refill..they were on top of everything.
