The Purple Onion Deli & Grill

Great spot for lunch! They had 8 or 9 choices of fresh homemade soups!
I ordered the purple onion wrap with tots. The chicken salad in it was so tasty and the perfect consistency. My husband got the Italian melt with coleslaw and he cleaned his plate. He said it tasted great and the bread was super fresh and delicious. The star of the show for me was the cup of autumn squash soup!! It was so refreshing, warm, sweet and savory. WAY better than Panera's squash soup. It brightened me up immediately.
The service was fast and friendly too.

What a cute place and such a nice little diner type restaurant. I was shopping for records and happened to stop in here after noticing it and I don't regret it. Super cute ans awesome staff.

I would need not here.... Visiting Lakeland looking for property.. the older lady behind the cash had zero customer service it was just mean and nasty!!!

I had the 1/2 corned beef 1/2 salad. Really yummy and came out very hot/fresh. Our waitress was confused when I asked if the ceaser had anchovies I thought that was silly she didn’t know how ceaser dressing was made. Staff is very kind. They have lots of food options and good prices. I wish they were open for dinner hours. The parking is a few street spots in front of the building or the paid public lot the next block over. Both have time restrictions. Overall one of my favorite restaurants in Lakeland.

I heard amazing things about this place. I got the Italian sandwich and philly. Along with jalapeno poppers and fried green beans. Personally I feel the sandwiches needed more. They were so thin. Barely any ingredients for the price. For 7 bucks I got 4 poppers. The green beans had a fair amount. It was good but for the price I should have had more meat and veggies in the sandwiches. It was more bread than anything. I even asked for extra mayo that wasn't there at all. Im on the hunt for a good Italian sandwich. My friend lead me here. I'm hoping this was just an off day. I may try again in the future. We will see.

This place is not only delicious but adorable! Super friendly staff, styrofoam cups that don’t sweat, bendy straws and phenomenal food! 10/10 will be back!
