The bartender created a drink for me using a flavor profile I provided. She knocked it out of the park. Revival never disappoints.

This is one of my favorite bars in Lakeland. I always get the espresso martini, and it's one of the best I've had in Florida. The atmosphere, especially on the weekends, is super cozy yet lively. I hate going into bars that have lots of screens or reek of cigars, but this place is very dim and is decorated really lovely. It does get considerably loud on the weekends, but it's a bar, that's to be expected. They bring the drinks wherever you're sitting, and I never have any issues with the service being bad. I go almost every weekend, and it's a hit every time. My ideal night out in Lakeland always starts here!
I can't speak for the other drinks cause I'm a creature of habit, but my friends have said they are very good as well. Prices are a little on the higher end, but the quality, atmosphere, and service all make it worth it. There's almost always a place to sit as well, as there's people coming in and out frequently throughout the night.

About Revival, this is as much as I can say:
I respect this place a lot. It has a lot of history. To the people that work here, this place might as well be their second home.
One thing that I caught onto immediately was the lighting. I’m trained in cinematography but I’ll spare you the details and say this: You have to admire the attention to detail that goes into what makes this place so great.
Then there are the drinks. I have been to a lot of places and I have been to a lot of bars, and you simply just can’t get a drink in any major city that tastes THAT good without paying anything under $30. I know there are some of you reading this who know what I’m talking about.
Revival is more of a statement than it is an actual place that you’d want to hang out in. If you’re looking for a place where you can just relax after a hard days’ work, it ain’t here. Do yourself a favor and don't treat Revival like it's your hangout spot. It isn’t really a hangout spot. It’s more of a stage than anything. You don’t just come here to sip a beer and unwind. That’s how the bartenders run it. They’ve got taste, presence, and they know the difference between someone who belongs and someone who’s just playing dress-up. And if you don’t pick up on that, you’ll feel it quick. This place has a pulse, and it doesn’t skip for anybody. You either get in rhythm or get out of the way.
As cute as that may seem to any outsider, these people take their own lifestyle very seriously and you need to be able to respect that if you expect to be cool here. If you need a place to un-loosen your tie, I’d recommend Tucker’s or TA Slammers. THAT’s where you’ll find the “regular” folk you’re looking for. You can’t treat Revival like a dive bar… you just can’t. To a local, that’s like as pissing on their Mona Lisa.
If you want to actually “be cool” here… I’m not the right one to give you the advice for that. Growing up here in Lakeland but never being old enough to study the ‘bar culture’ here, my personal experience at Revival is this:
I walked in here every night like I owned the place. While it became my personal sanctuary for a time. At the time I thought this was the only bar worth going in Lakeland (not true). I felt the other end of the gun when it comes to being the “who’s who” and the “who’s not” inside the walls of Revival and it’s not fun so if you’re still reading up until this point heed my warning: Treat this place with the same respect you would treat a library or a church. There’s a lot that goes on in a place like this and it’s what gives a town like Lakeland its pulse.

I came here for a mocktail. I love the ambiance of the place. It reminds of a really nice bar that I used to go to in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The bartender was friendly. It’s nice and quiet. Even outside as well. It’s a relaxing spot.
Great place to just chill, Drinks were really good
Love the atmosphere

Revival is my FAVORITE bar/ speak easy spot in Lakeland, hands down. It’s such a vibe and has been a super cool and ahead of its time spot for many years now.
It feels like a speakeasy inside, but it’s not quite as mysterious as most are. You enter in the front door after checking with the bouncer outside.
The drinks here are gourmet, there’s no other way to say it. They have an extensive and unique list of options, but they can also make pretty much anything you ask for. The last time I was there I had a lavender blueberry moscow mule, of which I had asked the bartender if I could have a flavored mule and that was his suggestion.
There’s a decent amount of seating here but the place gets pretty busy. The one thing I can knock them in is they have really slow service. The bartenders work so hard on each drink that even if there’s a few dozen people there it takes time to order and then get your drink. So that’s just something to be aware of but I promise it’s so worth the wait. Absolutely love this place!
Drinks off the menu are great.

We went in with high expectations of true craft cocktails. Their menu said, “pick your spirit, pick your flavor profile”. My wife was so excited as we had an excellent experience with this at another establishment. She picked vodka and savory; they served her a freaking Bloody Mary at 7:30 in the evening. Complete lack of vision and execution. Not wanting to make a scene, she wouldn’t let me send it back, but we definitely will not be returning. $12 for a generic Bloody Mary is completely unacceptable.

I always enjoy the vibe at Revival. The music is great, with a decent volume so you can still carry on conversations without shouting. The drinks are excellent, some of which can be quite creative. My new favorite from this visit is the brandy Old Fashioned.
The only downside is that the wait can be long. It seems that service is faster when you sit at the bar, as opposed to placing your order, then waiting at a table.
But it's still one of my favorite spots for drinks in downtown Lakeland :)

Amazing drinks. The bartenders are so knowledgeable. The classics are made fresh and delicious. Any bar can mess up a classic. Not here. Get an old fashioned with any spirit. Cocktail of the day. Chill music. Great vibes. Sass was so cool and served delicious drinks and conversation
