Roger's is the place to go. I get lunch there every day that I'm working close by. They make your sandwiches fresh on bread or a bun (your choice) . They are very friendly and customer oriented. They remember my order all the time. Their macaroni salad is delicious, too. It was pretty good, for the most part. Some of the display meats had mold, which was a huge turn off. I ordered the “best in town” hotdog and it was surprisingly really good. But his cooking method was to microwave the hotdog which was very odd. Not bad for a microwaved dog, but normally I would prefer either grilled, or dirty water style.All in all, I went in to see the quality of meats and to see if I should start getting my protein from there as opposed to Publix or Target....
Best deli in Polk! They have a decent selection of common cuts of fresh beef, chicken, pork, fish, and some more southern items, too.They have a bigger selection of deli meets and cheeses, both their own and Boar's Head meat. Go in and give it a try. Get your deli meat thinly sliced, your steaks freshly cut, and walk out with a hot Cuban (sandwich) for lunch!
