I dont even know where to start. We were evacuated over Idalia last Week. This was the only Hotel that had some Openings so we went for it. We booked over Booking.com a Room for 2 Adults with Breakfast. What we found was scary and upsetting. Our Room had 2 Beds in it which was ok but only when Chair, no other seatings in the Room. So we spend most of the Time on the Side of the Bed. Everything in that Room was broken, we had Bugs like Ants and Mold Flies. After reporting it to the Front Desk they came in and sprayed it and we actually had to sleep in it again. Our Breakfast was a Bag of 2 Mini Cupcakes, a Juice and an Orange. Needless to say that is no what we booked. We found out the Restaurant is closed and being renovated. On top they had the Audicity to make us pay a $100 Deposit in Case we steal some Towles. That is excactly what the Girl at the Front Desk said. I am still apalled by so much disrespect. We travel a lot but this was a whole new Experience for us and we are actually sorry not to have taken more Pictures.

I pulled up so the bf could unload the vehicle and was told to move by someone in a golf cart, who works there, so he could park where I was sitting. Big room but the ac doesn't get cold. Beds are comfortable. There are laundry machines BUT they ONLY take quarters and front desk doesn't help with that at all, which realistically doesn't make sense at all. Only two of the 4 washers work and 2 of the four dryers work. If you lose your money in the machine you have to call a number to get refunded. The vending machines on second floor do NOT take dollar bills, they take coins or credit cards. Elevators are outdated and look scary with cracks in the door. Front desk woman was sitting on the couch watching tv the few times that I came down to the lobby.

This hotel looks so old , poor lighting in rooms, No bulbs in the lamps. There was a one chair in room and it was broken. Curtains were broken too. Air conditioning making a noise. Breakfast was not good,

This is not the place to stay. while the female front desk cashier, was very helpful and friendly, it's clear the management and the franchise chain has on idea how to set and maintain hotel stands. The property is in very poor condition, inside and out. The rooms have a molding odor, the doors and door seals are rusted, the curtains are are vertical panels that do not close and last but not least, the water was cold and the toilet would not flush. isn this what they call quality?

This property is very disgusting. We actually had to go to a local store to buy disinfectants for the room as there was mold and black grime and hair on the counters. There is mold everywhere and a strong odor in hallways and interior of rooms. They claim to be smoke free and post signs of fines imposed but our room specifically smelled very strong of smoke. The carpets are filthy and we didnt dare walk barefoot or even unpack because of the odors. The towels smelled badly and were dingy. The room windows had at least a half inch of crud and brown gunk that is unidentifiable. There was a small fridge that when opened realeased an ungodly odor. We went to your advertised complimentary breakfast to find water down coffee and just a self serve waffle maker with no mix to actually make it. There is childrens cereal which was not for us as adults. Thats it Nothing else It was beyond disappointing and filthy. My particular trip was for family gathering and I would rather have slept in a vehicle and saved my $500+ as we had to shower at their house because bathroom was leaking and had mold. My son had to sleep elsewhere because he became sick from room and odors. We were required to put 100 deposit which is yet to be returned. It's been 2 weeks! The manager is useless and doesn't return calls This is simply not acceptable.

-Cleanliness in common areas was marginal. It looked like the hallways hadn't been vacuumed in days. It appeared that the stairwells hadn't been cleaned in over a month. Garbage can in lobby was overflowing for 2 days. -Hotel definitely needs to repair some items. There was something torn off the tile in our shower and paint chipped off walls. In the common area there were bare patches on walls. Lobby furniture was threadbare. -Pillows we're very chintzy. Didn't have much substance to them. -Breakfast needed to be refreshed. *Ham was delicious! *Looked like this was once a nice hotel, and with effort and care it could be nice again.

Spent one night at the Quality Inn Lakeland. Big mistake. This place needs a total makeover. Knock it down and rebuild. Everything is old. Furnishings are about the cheapest you can buy and paint is chipping everywhere. Booked online and paid $167. When I arrived they charged me a $5 "resort fee". This is not a resort. Breakfast was stale biscuts and gravy. Throughout breakfast two employees sat around and complained about work. There are a couple of hotels very close by. I suggest you try one, I know next time I will.

This place is at least 50 yrs old. Lots of big name entertainers have stayed here. From Elvis to Bob Barker, Rush, guns and roses, list goes on and on. Lakeland civic center was one of busiest venues in southeast. From early 70s to early 90s . Was a Hilton when 1st built.

Lady at front desk was always nice and helpful. I think her name was Heather. Good breakfast, just needs more than 1 waffle maker. Room was nice and clean. Bed was very comfortable. My kids enjoyed the pool. Good location. State Champions!!!! Back 2 Back!!!!

Right off the highway - good value for the money. Front desk attendant (Rose) was warm, welcoming, and very hospitable. The only opportunity is the parking situation- there is plenty of room but it’s out behind the building with limited visibility.
