I loved the food.It was so good. The pork egg rolls were excellent.Love them.I can make a meal and then buy themselves. Went to see my mom sunday, and we stopped at sunday's barbecue to enjoy some lunch together with my family. The service was fantastic, not a problem. Drinks were filled every time I didn't have to ask for. It was some of the best service I've had in a long time.Thank you, Sonny Barbecue, from making my mom stay out perfect.

The location has some parking deficits, but the food is always perfect, prepared fresh and served hot. the staff is amazing, and attentive. The atmosphere average for a BBQ location. They are offering both tables and booths to fit your groups needs.

I live in Lakeland. Other locals have told me that the food quality and service at this Sonny's location is Hit-or-Miss. It used to be consistently disappointing and I just stopped coming here about 6 years ago. The reviews tell a story of continued staffing struggles but I received my to-go order less than 10 minutes after ordering it ON A FRIDAY EVENING. It was well put together with no missing or goofed up items. I wish the bread was more crunchy but that doesn't...
