EVERYTHING I ORDERED HALF CHICKEN WITH FRIES WAS GOOD AND HOT. MY WIFE AND THE OTHER COUPLE HAD PULLED CHICKEN BEANS MACARONI AND A CORN MUFFIN. EVERYTHING WAS COLD OR LUKE WARM AT BEST.SO I AM ASSUMING EVERYTHING THEY HAD WAS LEFT OVER FROM SATURDAY AND NOT HEATED PROPERLY. BEING THEY HAD ONLY BEEN OPEN 5 MINUTES . THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. NEXT TIME THIS HAPPENS WILL BE ARE LAST TIME EATING HERE. THANK YOU, USE TO BE A LOYAL CUSTOMER WALLY

Who ever cooked the food on November 1 around 5pm need to be fired. Ive never in my life seen dry brisket before. That is where it started. But everything was so horrible and nothing was seasoned. We would normally eat here at least 3-5 times a year but after yesterday spending over $60 it has to be the last time for me at this location. Oh the drinks was good... smh
Revison, after I wrote this message the manager gave me a call and was really concerned. It was a very nice feeling knowing that people are out there who care about good service.

We decided to come to this sonnys sense the bartow sonnys burnt down. The waitress chastity walked passed us multiple times and didn't take are drink order so we went to the bar and then Chastity got into an argument with the manager. We will not come back to this sonnys.

Our softball team eats here whenever we can. The food is great and the server is easy to get along with. The new $19.99 sampler is an awesome deal.
This will be the last time eating here i would stay away from this location. It's a new year i given them one more try. Andcyet again big fail. Service is good and friendly, but the food is what makes me write this. It was cold to the touch, baked potato was old and over cooked , could not melt butter on it. If you are looking for BBQ stay away.

I went in to redeem a reward item but it wouldn’t allow me to for some reason based on my phone number. The scanner wouldn’t scan it either. Although the reward item didn’t have a locked picture next to it to indicate that I couldn’t redeem that item, I was still not able to redeem it. I live in Florida City, Florida which is where the Sonny’s BBQ is where I normally go to get my food. I was in Lakeland, Florida so I wanted to try to redeem the cinnamon/apple roll cobbler at the Sonny’s there. The restaurant in Homestead, Florida, had a fire so they are limited in what they serve. Since I couldn’t redeem the reward item, I decided to redeem the buy one get one free pulled pork sandwich and some fried okra. The pull pork sandwich was so very bland it didn’t have any taste to it. They didn’t even toast the bun which made it worse to me. The okra was okay, I found a few not fully cooked pieces of okra. Overall it was much better than the pulled pork. I was truly disappointed in the food. I went back inside to get a fork to eat my okra and I had to wait at least 5 minutes just for the young lady to come over to me. She was very busy getting orders. It seemed like they were understaffed. It was three people already there waiting for there food, a young man and his father then another older gentleman. Another lady came in after me and she asked was I there to order, I told her that I was waiting to get a fork. She said they need help. After the young lady came over to me I told her what I needed and complained about the bread not being toasted. I told her about the sandwich being bland and she said you must have gotten the pulled pork. I have eaten the pulled pork at the Sonny’s where I live and it didn’t taste bland at all when I ate it, which is the reason why I ordered it. She did offer to make me another sandwich but I refused because I had to drive 4 hours back home and it was getting late. The photos I posted is the food I received. I did add hot sauce to the okra that’s why it look the way it does. The young lady in the takeout area was nice and friendly.
