I normally love Sonny's, but the south Lakeland location and employees were a total let down. First, the host was playing with his phone when we walked in. Next he sat us at a table that would have made a Drag Racer jealous, as it was stickier than a prepared drag strip. We asked to switch tables, and the next one was slightly less sticky. The waitress walked up to our table with less than a smile on her face. When we ordered, she told me that they were out of turkey. I then asked for a minute to look at the menu for something else to eat. It took her 8 minutes before she realized that I did not order. When she brought us our food, she forgot to bring a knife for me to use to eat my chicken breast on the bone. It was about 10 minutes later when the rest of my family was almost done eating that she finally came back so I could ask for a knife. I will not visit this location of Sonny's again.
My order was missing items and the ribs were extremely overcooked.

We put in a togo to be ready at 6 and we arrived at the restaurant and waited for an hour to actually receive the food. There was no communication with staff and the kitchen or to the guests!
