Great experience. Delicious food. Too bad I found out about them just before they closed. The host restaurant was very nice, too. I grabbed some delicious donuts on my way out.

Excellent cafe & co-share concept. This restaurant is open two days only, Tuesday and Thursday, for lunch, inside a local mini--donut shop who also remains open and sells coffee and warm donuts. Both businesses benefit. This Egyptian American mom and her daughter-servers set up a cloth tablecloth family setting and serve you their beloved dishes. They love to explain things and help you grow culturally. Everything I have is delicious, fairly priced, quick to come out and worth repeat visits. There is no comparison in Lakeland to this delightful cuisine. You are briefly transported to an international place by tastebuds & music for your lunch hour. I've enjoyed the chicken but they have a great reputation for their lamb, beef & vegetarian dishes as well. The best hummus I've ever had is offered as an appetizer while you wait.

Got a pleasant surprise as I stumbled upon a sweet gem of Egyptian cuisine. Had the Shawarma with chicken and it was amazing. I am looking forward to trying their other dishes???.

My wife is Egyptian and very particular with food. We tried this place. We ordered one of everything on the menu. I must say that everything was absolutely amazing! If you are in Lakeland, this is a must! I highly recommend the shawarma. We can't wait for this to become a full on restaurant. We would be regulars here. Go try! You'll love it. A-1

I am giving them 5 stars even though we really didn't care for the cuisine. Different likes and dislikes for different people. We decided that Egyptian cuisine isn't for us. After talking to one of the servers she explained the 50/50 mix of beef and lamb in their selections that takes out some of the gamy taste that I associate with lamb, so I tried the beef and lamb Shawarma and my wife ordered the Shakshuka with chicken entree. We also tried the Mish with cucumber sandwiches. First off, our fault for not reading the descriptions thoroughly as my wife's dish was topped with sesame seeds which she does not tolerate very well. Still, she wasn't impressed with her selection, the spicy tomato sauce was too spicy for her liking. The pita bread used in the base was crunchy and added a different texture to the meal. We took the big majority of it home where I will try it tonight. My Shawarma was a little dry but had a good flavor, grilled to a perfect temperature to give the bread a nice crunch that was perfect. The cucumber, onion, tomato side salad was very fresh and the lemon vinaigrette went well with the salad. Also served with a pomegranate and tomato bulgar pilaf. Wasn't sure what I expected with this side dish but I wasn't expecting it to be served cold. Interesting taste but a bit on the bland side. The Mish with cucumber sandwiches were the hit of the meal. The cheese was very good with a salty sharpness with just a touch of something that added some heat. We both liked them. I wish the owners great success and judging by the lunch crowd they are off to a great start.
