I used to get by more often, but since I've retired, I barely go north of Alamo (BTW, I miss them there) but manage a few times a year. I got an Italian, made the old way, carried it to my daughter's house, and split it with her. It's become kind of a tradition now. Love Love Love Subs n Such!

Went there last Friday 8/2/24. Ordered a Reuben with thin slice raw onion on it. Sat down and patiently waited on the bench outside. It was very hot. Four different groups of people came and left while I waited on my sandwich, and this is my first visit so I didn't try to rush anybody. Eventually I stood up from the bench and asked somebody at the window how long it took to make a Reuben, and then they went and got it out of the back. By the time I got it and went across the street to eat it, the bread was soggy from sitting in the styrofoam container and there was no onion on it. First and last visit. It was the standard Reuben sandwich and it cost about $10.xx.

Every sub I have gotten from here has been absolutely phenomenal but my absolute favorite is the Dean Garlic Special 🙌🏽 best subs in the world are the ones that leave behind sub juice in the wrapper! Be prepared to enjoy a tangy, spicy, juicy and garlicky food event in your mouth!

Every time I go to Subs and Such, I am more and more impressed with there food and hospitality. They make sure everyone is treated the same, and get there food in a timely fashion. Even on there busy days, you will never see one of them snapping at a customer or each other. The professionalism for this little sub hub, is better than I've seen in sit down restaurants. Wish they stayed open later than 3:30pm, but, given there location I can understand....
Parking: It is literally a small hub, Subs & Such, and though parking goes all the way around. Your still limited in space, especially if they are busy but the food is worth it.

Love the old school, old but rustic atmosphere, even the old sign says ... "Come try food the way momma makes" !! Gotta try whatever Dean recommends. I don't know who Dean is but his sub "Dean's Special" was awesome if you love Garlic like I do. Can't wait to try other flavor items.
