Heard such rave reviews so tried it. Chili dog and chips..easy right? Bun soggy, chili just a bunch ground beef, no flavor. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. Wish I could share the photo...🥺

I was feeling super depressed and I started to feel better when I was walking through the parking lot and saw that really pretty mural on the side. Then I had a really nice lady come up to me while I was waiting in line to take my order. And I sat down on the bench, watch the cars drive by, and had this calm feeling while surrounded by a bunch of pretty flowers and ferns in the quiet shade. Instantly reminded me of those nice moments with a good sandwich make life worth living. Plus, you know the food's good when you see a bunch of construction guys outside waiting for sandwiches. Never been here before, but this is my new favorite

This Lakeland staple has been here as long as I can remember. They make an absolutely fantastic breakfast croissant.. My fav it the steak egg and cheese. They have bacon and other options. They are a friendly family owned business and I really look forward to sitting at not of the tables off to the side watching S Florida go by while digging in to this treat. Give it a try, you won't be sorry :)

Stopped by this place ,first time, even though it's been here in Lakeland for years, tried the Cuban sub, was displeased by the taste,quantity,and quality. Guess was just not my day for food, coleslaw tasted odd and old, and sour, got soda, which of course was flat and not calibrated right..don't really plan on returning, no parking hardly, and they expect people to sit out in hear and weather, tried to get refund for meal and explained why, the employees refused to even talk to me after I asked for refund, and said there wasn't no manager there and refused to give me a number so I could contact management ..bad business and still want a refund

I haven't had the occasion to swing through Lakeland in several decades, but I was delighted to find that Subs 'n Such is still around after my first exposure in the mid 80's. Service was fast and friendly, and their veggie sandwich was legitimately the best veggie sub I've ever had.
I had been expecting something like a Publix sub and was planning on just picking up some Tofurky for it, but this Veggie sub was phenomenal on its own such that I didn't bother. The broccoli was chopped well, so there weren't overly large pieces to gnaw through while still adding depth of texture, and I was pleased they put green olives on in addition to the black. The cucumbers, carrots, spinach, et al just helped finish tying the room together, and I'd recommend it to any veg*n looking for a solid meal.

They tell you that you can do a call in order tell you it takes about 20 minutes you leave your home in about 10 minutes if it take you 10 to get there when I got there they said all we cook it to order that's our most expensive food we want to make sure people don't change their minds, you've got to be kidding me ,then one lady says oh we cook it when you get here so it'll be hot and ready for you, I would not have done a call in order if I was worried about that but if I'm here within that 20 minutes it's still hot and ready for me..right .right

Extremely kind and generous owners and staff. Amazingly delicious Philly style cheese steak from an owner from Pennsylvania he nailed it. The chocolate milkshakes and the coleslaw are to die for along with the great outdoor seating underneath the giant oak tree.
