We attended the New Year's Eve event which included four course dinner and glass of champagne. For the cost I feel the quality of food was lacking I.e. the soups was cold and sent back the entree was also lukewarm. Desert was delicious but needed to ask waitress twice for a cup of coffee and not to mention requested a second bottle of champagne which was never received.

My husband and I paid for the New Year's Eve dinner, but were seated in a corner next to the kitchen with the Sous Chef yelling orders and the waitresses lining up next to us. The temporary partition separating our table from the kitchen fell on us. The Maitre D compensated us with a free drink, but the evening was not the special, romantic, or elegant night we had expected. I would consider returning, hoping to avoid being seated at such a disorderly table.

Overall, food was good but portions were small and overpriced. Service was slow, 20 mins to get our drinks and 50 mins for our entrees to be served. It was Christmas Eve so a busy evening but we made reservations for 7pm which the last slot of the evening so they were not taking more customers after we arrived. Yet service remained very slow.

Everything was amazing. The lamb was cold, but the manager was amazing brought us a drink and made it right. It was Christmas Eve and they were busy so it wasn't a huge deal. Overall an amazing experience we love this place.

I really wanted to leave a good review but I just can’t! We went for their Thanksgiving buffet. The menu that was advertised sounded so good, crab legs, turkey, ham, beef, various side dishes and desserts. The crab was as big around as my pinky and some had no meat at all. The turkey was very dry, ham was very tough. Some of the sides were average at best, the dressing was all bread. The desserts were tiny but tasty. The price of $125 per plate was outrageous! So disappointing. I won’t go back for another meal ever!

We enjoyed eating meals at all time of the day at Terrace Grille while we stayed at the hotel. The service was incredible and we were so grateful for this phenomenal dining option available to make our stay so comfortable!

The menu is vastly improved. I had salmon and Caesar salad, it was delicious. Also my cousin had steak and Bibb salad, she said the steak was delicious. They have a selection of drinks, wine and desserts. We really enjoyed our luncheon.

It is a long time tradition to celebrate 3 friends birthdays 3times a yr. I was disappointed we were charged for birthday dessert.

Our server was exceptional (her name escapes me but she's turning 31 on the 31st). We had a round table which was perfect for our party of six. The room has character and style. Everything is done well. We ordered a variety of starters and mains and all of the food was excellent. The meal was well paced. Just a great dining experience.

In fact the dining room may have also been understaffed as I think our server was a manager, so perhaps they had a call out or two. Hotel was sold out for the weekend for an event which I imagine made things more challenging. Despite their challenges of the morning, absolutely everyone we spoke to at the hotel was wonderful. Everything was clean including the bathrooms. It is a historic hotel that was renovated a few years ago and still holds the charm of 1920's America. I have had breakfast at the Terrace Hotel many times over the last few years and food has always been outstanding in the past, but on this day it was closer to very good than outstanding. Still a fair price for the overall experience. Of course I will return.

Most definitely the best place in downtown Lakeland to enjoy a great dinner with friends, family, or stop by for drinks or dessert. We tried Ava's dessert and it was amazing! What a fabulous addition! Also the bartender, Ali is fantastic! He made the best drink I have had in years! Everyone was so nice and welcoming and we really appreciated this level of thoughtful service.

We had an amazing night after our wedding! The room was beautiful and we slept really good. Then we came downstairs to redeem our breakfast voucher and when I tell you it was the best toast have ever had!
Our server was Mylik and he was a pleasure to have served us! He was very professional, kind, and a big people’s person. It was great to chat with him and the food was perfect!!! My husband and I would definitely come again just for the food. I had a pumpkin spiced iced latte (sorry Starbucks and Dunkin, but they had y’all beat) with their Toast Francaise. Carlos had a cappuccino with a Full American Breakfast. The food was too Teir one as well as the presentation !
