We normally go to Charley's but we were meeting friends from Orlando so we decided to meet in Lakeland and try Texas Cattle Company. It is more casual and laid back than Charley's. Our server was fantastic with her recommendations and was super attentive, very nice. Food was very good. I actually had the salmon since I had eaten steak a few times during the week so I wanted something different, and the salmon was very good. My husband's steak was very good as were our friend's steaks. Cocktails were strong, which was another win. Great impression and will return!

I celebrated my birthday at this amazing steakhouse, and it was such a treat! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was perfect for a special occasion. The steaks were cooked exactly as we ordered full of flavor. What really made the night, though, was our waiter, Tristin. He was super attentive, friendly, and made great recommendations from the menu.

I truly cannot explain the enchanting experience that was the restaurant known as Texas Cattle Company. From the customer service with changing my reservation time, the immediate hospitality from our amazing waitress Monica, the food itself, ambiance of the lighting, superbly kept bathrooms, and everything in between. It was resplendent. Monica made sure that we had everything we needed at all times and was so sweet from start to finish. We will be going back again!!

Hostesses were excellent. Restaurant has a great vibe. Waitress was fun. Now to the food. We ordered med well steaks one was med rare and other was more well - but they tasted good. Asparagus was like string jerky. Salad could use extra dressing. Bread was excellent. Baked potato was giant and good. Mashed potatoes were very oily or buttery.. sitting on top was a pool of butter or something… great place but the kitchen needs to pay more attention to the food being prepared.
