We were turned off by Patio 850, when it was falling apart in every way. Finally summoned the courage to try it again now that it has a new owner and a new chef. The food was once again excellent, the service was also attentive and pleasant, and Larry, the owner, made sure we were pleased. We will definitely return soon! We recommend it to anyone.

Visiting family in Lakeland, we ate here on Valentine's Day. Nice atmosphere & they had a guy playing jazz music for entertainment. P,ace wasn't very busy and the service was slow. Food was spot on though. 4 of us had the Valentines special- filets and my wife had shrimp dinner. I had the mahi dinner, all of the meals were Excellent. I'm assuming the slow service was due to lack of staff.

We went to have dinner here after wanting to try it for a bit. Outside sitting is beautiful and it was pleasant until we placed our order. The server (even though was a nice kid) seemed to have never served before in his life and it's fine, that is understandable and we didn't fuz about it, even after he offered appetizers when our meal order had been in for 25 min. When we finally got our food which took forever, it was burnt. I ordered the All American Burger, it was dry and burnt. I ordered fries and their fries are those thin potatoes that come in a can. My boyfriend's flatbread was also burnt. After the server took the plate, a lady came to our table saying her and the owner were sitting there in the patio and noticed we ordered empanadas and they apologize that they came in burnt. We explained we didn't order any empanadas but our food was, she turned away and asked the next table if they ordered the empanadas that came out burnt. It was theirs and she started to spill the same "we are sitting here watching everything and saw your burnt empanadas" if she would have been watching she would know what table it was for. I worked in the restaurant business before and my advise to the owner would be that instead of sitting in the far end of the patio, laughing with the manager while the kitchen messes everything up and poor waiters didn't even know what to do. He should've been directing them from the inside.

I had been so very looking forward to revisiting the revamped former Patio850 now just simply "The Patio". This time of year the outside seating options are ideal for enjoying the Florida winter. Live music by a very talented and entertaining fellow who in between sets made the rounds and socialized with the guests. Unfortunately that's where the charm ended this evening. I met up with a long-time girlfriend early (6pm) for a quality catch up. Well we had plenty of time to catch up. After being seated promptly we then probably waited almost a half hour before the hostess who seated us came back and asked if we needed our waitress. My response was "we haven't seen our waitress, you're the last and only person we've seen". After another few minutes a very harried waitress came to the table out of breath and apologizing for the delay. Not pressing our luck we quickly placed our drink orders of Red Sangria and Lavender Lemonade. We also ordered the Tangy Maple Bacon Flatbread and the Crab Cake Bites. Our server went on her way and then we proceeded to wait. And wait. And wait. Apparently "all the orders hit the kitchen at once" we were told. Losing track of time (not because of our deep conversation but more of being delirious with hunger) we finally got our appetizers. Sadly I was too hungry and didn't stop to take pictures. The crab bites also came with shrimp, which I could have missed it but don't recall shrimp being mentioned. Happy circumstance though because the shrimp were better than the crab. The crab bites were super salty. The corn maque choux was decent and the shrimp were well cooked but heavily seasoned with what had to have been Old Bay. I love Old Bay but this was encrusted shrimp with Old Bay. The flatbed was more tangy olive and balsamic than maple bacon. If there was bacon you couldn't tell. It took so long for our server to come and check on us we joked about an old school "dine and dash" and just getting up and leaving. Our server did finally come back to clear our dishes and at that point we simply asked for the check. Throughout the night we noticed other tables in a similar holding pattern of service and scrambling staff. Decent food concept and a lovely setting. With some tweaks to seasoning and some more tweaks in timing and service coverage this could come back as a true Lakeland gem.

A++ excellent all the way around . The charcuterie board was really good ! The filet is delicious as my daughters had that and I had the margarita pizza and the truffle choc cake was the bomb! Excellent food and service and ambiance . Really nice place! Love it here!!

Very sad to go to a place I used to love and the service be so bad. The food came out at all different times and my 92 year old friend didn't get hers until 45 min later. I had to give my dinner to her. The excuse was it was their first busy fri night. There were 5 tables in all. Then our checks were all screwed up and I had to go to the manager to sort through it to get it correct. Needless to say won't be going back.

Neither the service or the food worth the prices they charge for you to sit in uncomfortable patio furniture and eat mediocre food.

The atmosphere is inviting and very relaxing. Service was quick and friendly. There was live music that wasn't too loud so you could have a conversation and here the other person. Food is EXCELLENT. I would recommend this for a date night or with friends. I would like to have had a roll or slice of bread to sop up all the juices from my steak and potatoes. This was the perfect night my husband I needed.

We came to the Patio and were impressed from the appetizer all the way to the entree. We ordered the escargot, crab and cheddar and the truffle popcorn. The escargot was tender and cooked to perfection. The crab and cheddar had great flavor and served with pita bread. We were totally surprised by the truffle popcorn and we ate all of it, so tasty. Our entrees consisted of the shrimp 'n grits, pulled pork pizza and the Granny Smith salad. We all shared, so we could experience the great flavors. Let me tell you, chef's kiss. Everything was amazing and cooked to perfection. Ashley was our server and took amazing care of us. We had a great time on the Patio and the atmosphere was the cherry on top. The fans kept us very comfortable and we will be back.

What a wonderful dinner tonight at the Patio. Shortly before we arrived, It was raining, so we opted to sit indoors. We started with maple bacon popcorn, which was hot, fresh, and delicious! I ordered the short rib with grits, and my wife had the salmon with restated potatoes. Her salmon was moist and cooked perfectly. Now on to my short rib: they do not skimp on portions! The meat was so tender and juicy!! The grits were nice and creamy, and the spinach topping was crisp and perfectly cooked. The waitress was attentive and friendly, and the owner even stopped by to check on us. If you haven't been by lately, I would strongly urge you to give the Patio a try!

this place is ridiculous. the food is no where worth the price. They offer popcorn as an appetizer ($12) a Granny Smith salad, that was probably the worst salad I've eaten and will cost you $18 freaking dollars. this place lives in La La land with these prices for mediocre food. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Enjoy brunch outside! The covered tent is up and the food is delicious! Try the flatbread for sure.
