I DO NOT EAT BREAD AND DONT PAY EXTRA FOR SUBSTITUTION THEREOF...today went and was told it would be upcharge TO SUBSTITUTE A COUPLE TOMATO SLICES FOR BREAD..$3...walked out...will not be back....I am tired of these "hometown" restaurants that survive on the backs of the community trying to act like corporate restaurants.. let them die with the market they have created for themselves...some are over priced some make up the rules as they go...will not be back with family, church or work crew....

HOWEVER, the inside appears run down. I don't mind eating at a place that looks like this IF, its affordability outweighs the look or even if the food makes up the difference.
The Wooden Spoon didn't have either of those.
The food, is French Toast, over easy eggs on top of potatoes and two sausage patties the size of Oreo cookies. I ordered home potatoes, not hash browns. (The waitress should have brought out a side of home-fired potatoes after I let her know it wasn't what was ordered)
I recommend Joshua's Kitchen by Publix off of Shepherd Rd. It wasn't worth 15.00.
