I LOVE Yard on Mass! We’re here every month for Pitbulls and Pints event and the atmosphere is awesome. Tried the Off the Griddle food truck tonight and the food was great. My favorite thing about this place is the dog friendliness! ??

Had a party there and the owner cancelled the band that was supposed to be playing two days prior and after all invitations were sent out. The band was one of the reasons we were wanting to have our event there. When asked the Owner stated it was due to it being cold but there is plenty of room inside for the band and it wasnt that cold anyway. He kind of had this "oh well" attitude when questioned about it. This is the second time we have had an event there and the band was cancelled. We will not return to this venue. The food truck there was awesome. I recommend taking your business to Grove Roots in Winter Haven. Way better environment and they have a private room to rent and wont cancel the band on you.

The owner doesn't have the craft beer prices listed on the wall, and the bartenders don't want to tell you what they cost. It's a way to get you to spend more money, and I find it insulting that the owner wants to shame me about asking about the prices. The beer selection is solid, but shaming me about asking about prices isn't a way to get me to come back. This is Lakeland, not Miami...

What a great place to grab a beer or a cocktail and relax with friends! I especially love the outdoor space.They don't have a kitchen so the food varies to what food truck is on hand.
It was my first visit with my family, but will not be the last one. The atmosphere was great, with plenty of seating and room for my kids to play outside. The inside was nice and the beer selection was pretty darn good. They had two food trucks and the burgers we got from Mary Jane Burgers were delicious. Looking forward to going back again soon. Overall a great experience, tou will not be disappointed.

I came there with my daughter for some live entertainment on Friday night. We came to watch Brett Bass play. We had a great time there was a real lively environment. What my daughter really liked is the fact that they were all kinds of cool games to play and it was fun for the whole family. If you're looking for a cool place to hang out, watch live music play some games board games and have a few refreshments inside and outside. This place is great. It's not the typical dive bar scene. It's super uptone and a cheerful environment. You don't see a bunch of drunks running around either. Everyone is just really festive and celebrating enjoying the time that they're there. Looking forward to coming back to visit again. Highly recommended!

I’ve been twice to Yard on Mass, both times I was very surprised to see children running around in the late hour (between 10pm and closing). This place looks like a bar, acts like a bar, walks and talks like a bar, but allows children. My second visit which was just two nights ago, I saw children climbing on the music equipment of the live band performing and then I was hit with decorative rocks from a barrel thrown by the kids. I know it’s not YoM’s job to parent other people’s children, but why allow them in your place? They shouldn’t be there. It’s a bar. I’m not surprised that it was completely dead at 10:00 on a Saturday night when there are kids running around, no one from the local colleges or anyone wanting a night out wants to deal with children.On a positive note, the bartender, a dude with a beard wearing a Red Hot Chili Peppers shirt, was legit. Good guy, good service, good drinks.Seriously, all ownership has to do is get rid of minors and this place will actually have customers on a Saturday night, instead of just the food truck lady getting drunk at the bar because no one is there to eat her burgers.

The yard is definitely a great hang out spot. I was skeptical because of it being a down town location and that usually means pricey drinks and limited parking. Neither was the case. We went on a Friday night. The vibe was super chill and a live band played mellow rock music. The grassy lawn featured lots of comfy seating, shady spots to chill, and a food truck. Inside the bar smelled clean and was organized with lots of seating. The bartender was helpful and there was no wait for drinks.

We love the Yard! They have great bands playing on the weekends, and our family and friends enjoy hanging out in a backyard environment, its always clean and the employees are very nice. our favorite band is Gary Love and the Moonlighters. They also have different food trucks that come in case your hungry. The food is inexpensive and good! My only complaint is that one food truck ( I can't remember who it was) ran out of french fries early in the evening, but we still enjoyed ourselves. They have a great full service bar and the drinks are reasonable.
