Never have I had an acai bowl frozen solid and told that's how it is supposed to be. Very disappointing. Please go to Planet Smoothie, Tea Largo, Bahia Bowl, literally ANYWHERE else in Lakeland that serves bowls and see the difference. Inedible. Hard as a rock. Broke a plastic knife.

I placed a mobile order then showed up at the allotted time. A couple showed up after me, placed and order at the counter and received both of their food orders before my 1 smoothie was ready

About half the time I get a acaí bowl from this location the base is frozen solid like it was prepared the night before. Some staff I like other staff members are completely immature and make sexual jokes on a regular loud enough for customers to hear. Also whoever is cutting the fruit is using the same cutting board or knife that they are using to cut onions and it's disgusting I have literally thrown away full bowls because of how bad the acaí bowl has been, yesterday morning the banana was completely destroyed like I cant think of a better way to describe it besides completely inedible. One time there the granola was soaked in honey and it was definitely on purpose. My last name is Cummings which is not super uncommon but for the staff it was soooooo funny like they have to be 13 years old back there. I still go there when I have to but the bartow location and even the north Lakeland location is a better option.

At around 3 PM 07/27/2025 the person taking our order was rude. When we entered the facility, we weren’t greeted - that’s OK, but could be improved. We were standing in front of the gentlemen waiting for him to take our order, he noticed us, but he didn’t look at us (he was just looking at the cashier). This was ongoing for about 5-7 mins. Then I asked him if we could order. He looked up, didn’t say anything. Then I asked him again; then he finally, he shrugged. Then my wife told him what she wanted, then he pretended he didn’t hear. I repeated the order, then he took it and left after we paid. It was not a welcoming environment. Of course, we didn’t want to make a scene. We thought the person just had a very bad day. It can happen to someone, we understand; however, it is not an excuse to behave like this. A different person who prepared and served our drinks was kind and courteous; that is why it’s not one-star review for the service. Drinks were great; 5-star for those. Thank you for listening.
6/5 at 7:30 pm , me and my sisters went to this location and sat down to eat the person doing your facility trash was EXTREMELY RUDE . He came inside with the trash can but we didn’t think we were in the way and he hit my sisters chair with the trash can either such aggression I was in disbelief. He didn’t say anything or even try to say excuse me if he thought she was in the way , it is not our fault as a customer that the space is tight . Out fist and last time even trying to dine in . I hope management takes care of this because it’s not ok . While we were eating it so rude , the cashier on duty was extremely nice and helpful . But that incident left such a bad impression.

Avoid this location if you actually want a good smoothie. Every time without fail the smoothie is bland and tastes like barely any fruit is used. Every other location makes them way better and you actually get what you pay for.

I have MS(Multiple Sclerosis my diet is every important to me. I come, I order the same smoothie with no water added each morning( I go like 3/5 times EVERY week. Today my same routine but the two girls didn’t see me walk behind the little area for pickup and I could hear them say she always wants no water like that’s impossible. But I just add and then another EE agreed and said like that’s and I interrupted and said politely, it’s is possible and the black girl says we not talking about that and I said I can hear your entire convo soon as my order was placed,NICELY , it is possible again. I get it every time. She replies to the other worker Bc who is she talking to. My daughter said that statement is like a threat. I won’t be coming back. The lady at the front desk is THE NICEST AND SHE APOLOGIZE THE SECOND SHE HEARD IT. The customer in the lobby was like whats the problem with that. So I will not return as my stress levels can’t be triggered over a simple request. The shakes are watered down so adding water on top of adding ice,makes the shake lose its taste . It really saddens me how poor customer service is now. Praying for a friendlier world.
