Dana is an awesome bartender to add to the VFW she's always got a friendly smile on her face always there when you need her we've known her a very long time we live at Cypress Lakes Village she's a very good fit for the VFW

Dana is the very best bartender that we have ever had. She is so kind and personable! She cares about her customers! We loved this VFW before she started working here but now we love it even more!! Having her and Sub Hub be a part of this lodge is the BEST!!! Come check it out! You won’t be disappointed!!

Had an excellent experience our first time here. The bartender, Dana was exceptional. Greeted us when we entered, promptly and professionally took care of our orders while handling the rest of her bar customers. We never had to wait. We will be back to see her! Fantastic bartender!

Be careful with Dana. It took years to get rid of her. She over pours, she favors people, residents fell off their chairs, older residents had to be brought to the hospital. She is NOT a good person. She does not ring in orders. Unless you are a non for profit and you don’t care about people drinking more what they ordered , she should not be working for you

When it is open it is great.
It is also 8pm tonight and they are closed. My boyfriend who is a veteran wanted to go to escape being home and try to enjoy the night and it is closed. It’s a shame that it closes whenever.

The staff are very laid back and very cool. The menu is surprisingly large. A great atmosphere with terrific memorabilia.

We rented the back area on 8/26/23 the day before on 8/25/23 we came and set up the ac thermostat was reading 80. The gentleman said they keep unit off in back he would turn thought nothing of it since I know air conditioning a empty room is not cheap. Came back the next day for event and ac had not moved at this time i went to bar and spoke with Tammy informed her the air is not on she said ill turn on the breaker well I watched them try multiple times. I fix ac for a living and flipping breaker on and off is not going to do nothing.especially when the condenser out side no screw in service panel so you know unit been worked on multiple times. Tammy was very understanding but I have a feeling that ac has not been working for sometime. They still charged me for the room with no ac like I stated to Tammy if I wanted to sweat I would have just saved the money and had the event at my house the whole reason of renting a venue was to make sure me and my guests where comfortable well that wasn't possible with the room reaching 83 I would not recommend u renting this place if you do hopefully the ac is working and they don't charge u full price for a hot box

Amazing people

Took another couple with us for dinner and was very disappointed in the steak. It was advertised as a strip steak, and maybe it was, but I didn’t think so. It was thin and was tough. Will consider going back, but will not have steak. We like going there, but this visit was disappointing.

Good service when open. They never stick to their posted hours. They close early on a regular basis with no notice!

The place needs a refresh. Other then that great people
