Awesome huge portions, kind and seasoned waiters, family style Italian dishes and great cocktails too, specially The Godfather
We loved everything. We had to wait about 30 minutes beyond our reservation time to be seated. The garlic rolls were delish. We had eggplant parm, poached beet salad and seafood salad. They were very accommodating to one of the guest who had to eat very simply. Anthony was excellent and his recommendations were perfect. This was our first visit and we will be back.
After many of my co-workers and friends raved about this place and told me I needed to go there, I finally had the opportunity to eat at Mario's for the first time this past weekend. When I walked in the first thing I noticed was that the place was packed. That is usually a good sign that people enjoy the food. The second thing I noticed was that the bar was even full and people were willing to sit there in order to eat. I thought damn this place must be that good. Lastly, as the wait staff was passing me and I was being escorted to my table all I could notice was the sights and smell of the food. They looked and smelled amazing. I order the antipasto for an appetizer. It was not only beautiful in looks but it truly was an amazing plate of food. For dinner I had linguine and clams. This was an absolute masterpiece. Fresh clams. Fresh pasta. The right amount of garlic. And just the right amount of sauce. Amazing. The thickness of the sauce and consistency were spot on. But this dish did not compare to the one the gentleman besides me ordered. He ordered the seafood fra diavolo. Holy mackerel!! They served it on a turkey platter size dish. Mama mia!! Enough food for 2. Looked incredible. How good was the food? So good that 2 nights later I was back having dinner again. Not only did I go back but I canceled reservations at another restaurant just to try their gnocchi. Another off the wall chart hit. All I can say is that Mario's makes incredible food, great atmosphere and ambience and the wait staff, bartenders and cooks all do an excellent job. If you want to get out for a date night or just want to go have some great food, go try this place. You will not be disappointed
Ordered sangria. Ten minutes later, waiter comes over; we don't have any. Two for one drinks; not really. I ordered ravioli with tomato sauce. The sauce was so spicy I had to clear it off the pasta. My friend tasted it and said I should send it back. I didn't. The restaurant is convenient to the theatre, and we've eaten there before, but this was the last time.
Tonight was a disaster. Had a reservation and the place was insanely crowded. They set up folding tables and chairs literally on the sidewalk that they finally seated us at 40 mins past our reservation time. When a waiter finally made his way out to us he was thankfully very honest and told us the food was going to take a good hour to come out. We left . We have been customers of this restaurant for years but they have gotten very greedy and their reputation will suffer for it. If I go ever again it will be off season when they actually need my business ...shame
We had a terrible experience. Service was terrible, food needed to be sent back and we were seated in front on the piano. Singers were good but the noise was so loud you couldn't talk.
If you want to go to a restaurant where you can't hear the person next to you - then go here. This would be a great restaurant to take someone you can't stand. Then you can pretend to just listen to them while they talk, because you won't hear a word they say. If you want to leave with a blasting headache and feel like you have been sitting in the torture chamber where they blast super cheesy and obnoxious music, then this is the place. Truly, the loudest restaurant I have ever been in - it was packed (so clearly people like this place despite the noise), the accoustics are terrible, but then I guess they still think it is a good idea to blast the music coming from the live entertainment (a singer and piano player) who play the cheesiest songs from 70's - it was funny at first - but then the volume was so loud for the entirety of our dinner it became super off putting. The food is too saucy, service was just ok, and atmosphere seriously the worst ever.
The food here is fantastic, but the service is so bad that we won't be returning or recommending it to our friends. We were seated 20 minutes late for our reservation because they didn't clear and bus our already empty table. The chef decided to stop making bread when we sat down (for a 7:30 reservation), so we never got bread. We were seated at a folding table and folding chairs on the sidewalk away from the restaurant, so we didn't feel like we were at the restaurant and kept getting forgotten about. Then, it started to rain on us, and as we were switching tables to one that was luckily empty, they started bringing out our food while bussing the new table. We weren't even sitting down yet, and they started to bring it out. We were still on the sidewalk, but now feeling a part of the restaurant, but the singer that they brought was so loud and out of tune, it was horrible to listen to. And they forgot half of my dad's dinner and said nothing about it until we asked 3 times for them to bring it out. The food was delicious, so if you are going to dine here, definitely try the Caesar salad and the eggplant stack. All of our pasta was delicious. It is a shame that the service is so horrible.
Tucked away in the heart of Lake Worth is a true hidden gem. This family-owned restaurant delivers excellent food and outstanding service. While it may look unassuming from the outside, once you step in, the welcoming and experienced staff truly shine. I've been here five times now, and every meal has been a hit. I 100% recommend giving it a try.
Mario's is always consistent with excellent food quality. Never had a bad meal here. Friendly staff and great atmosphere.

We had a delightful experience and meal with my twin 1 year olds and son and DIL. The team accommodated us with two high chairs and exemplary service. Food and cocktails met all of our expectations. Even Valet was awesome. Don’t hesitate to dine here. We consider Mario’s a go to place for a great dinner and atmosphere.

Perfect mom and pop Italian restaurant. Food was amazing and the service was great. I'd highly recommend if you want delicious food & nice date spot .
Food was awful..even the store bought rolls they served. Returned main course..at the appetizer, all of which were tooo salty. The waiter was the worst my group has ever seen...totally non responsive to our needs. This place is one and done
Food was delicious, but a lot! We had 2 other meals from leftover veal Milanese & seafood on spaghetti.?learned portions large enough to share among 4! Really tasty! Service is spot-on, always someone checking in(including the delightful owner.) Fun atmosphere(tight tables, but easygoing crowd.) music on certain nights. Fun& delicious.
Food was delicious and the service was diligent and attentive. Monica was a playful delight as our server. Will be back again!
