Very small bakery on the corner of a small center. They have a small selection of baked goods. Their chocolate chip cookies are filled with Nutella. Very sweet they are $5.00 for each cookie.

I experienced a similar issue as someone in their review last month. I had a TooGoodToGo order that I placed the night prior for pick up the following day 7pm on 7/27. I drove 30 minutes to pick it up. When I arrived at the 7pm pick up time, the store was closed. I asked the business owner next door if they are coming back since I had a pick up order (I figure they left for a quick second) but the business next to them says, they are “sold out” for the night. I then waited for an additional 10 minutes at the front and called Milotino Bakery. I explained that I had a pick up order to which the lady says “that’s because we sold out. We don’t have anything else.” I was extremely frustrated because of the drive I made and the lack of communication. I stated that she should have cancelled the order if she knew she sold out because she had ample time before my pick up order to notify me. She said “let me check” and hung up the phone. 3 minutes later I got a cancellation email. This was so unprofessional, especially for a first time customer experience. Hanging up in my face with no apology is so disrespectful. I don’t think I will ever give them a first try again.

The first pic is the sandwich I thought I was getting, the second pic is the sandwich I actually got… super disappointing. Would’ve gone to Publix if I wanted a pub sub. But their carrot cake was bomb. I would stick with desserts here. They also didn’t tell me a total before swiping my card, or offer a receipt.

This week I wanted to support the small business myself even though it’s a half hour drive out for me. I went two nights in a row. The first night I got there at 8:40 PM closed, lights off. I said ok, no problem I’m also a small business owner and emergencies or mistakes happen, I accepted it as my own fault. I even second guessed my memory and said I must have mistaken the hours listed online. Nope, hours on Instagram, Google, and Facebook were all until 9 PM. The next day I decide let’s give it another shot- got there at 8:20 PM. I had double and triple checked the business hours online and social media to right before heading out the door to see if there was any last minute early closing. When I arrived, CLOSED EARLY AGAIN. I messaged the business number to ask if they had new hours, and they said sorry for the inconvenience actually we have new hours and close at 8 pm, I’ll now update the hours. And that was that. A friend had brought me some treats from here last month as a treat when I was recovering from a surgery. Chocolate chip, cookies and cream cookies, a cake pot. They were delicious. So I do recommend the treats and for that they get 2 stars. But how can I recommend patronizing a business that acknowledges their mistake but does not offer a way to make it better? Not a, here’s a discount or an offer for your next visit, we hope you will give us another shot. That would have been real customer service and I would have given them another shot and probably recommended them to everyone. Two separate 1-hour round trips for nothing but at least now with this review it won’t happen to anyone else.
The cookies in this cute bakery were so delicious and the owner was friendly and curious! Can’t wait to get back there again.
