What a delicious treat! We tried Oceano for the first time as we had a couple people recommend it and were very pleased. The food was so full of flavor and fresh ingredients. We started with the mussels smothered in giardiniera (a relish of picked vegetables) served with a pimento aioli and perfectly toasty bread. Our second course was the wood-fired pear salad with arugula, the best ricotta, with a tart vinaigrette (so delish), and we ended with the blue jumbo lump crab, green...
The highlight to this place is the food. Beautiful ambiance, especially outside. Inside seemed really noisy for some reason. Our server was just okay and seemed overwhelmed. First round of drinks took an eternity for our table of 6. They still get five stars as some of the dishes were just off the chain. The best was the pork and the pizzas. Just fantastic. Would definitely return.
