These recent 5 stars are BS all to try to get past the truth. This place is NOT WHAT IT USED TO BE... New management is absolutely HORRIBLE, Wait staff is still AMAZING at least the ones that are left... who knows what they have hired... New owners, New management, New chef, 12 employees gone.. I would def recommend finding a better place to spend your hard earned money!

I revisited this place after a great experience years ago and was sorely disappointed. There were actual rodents running across the floor and when the blond waitress with protruding bicuspids and nonexistent chin saw the same thing I did, she continued on to explaining the specials as if nothing happened. The bartender who was making drinks helped himself to a shot of liquor with the drinks he was mixing without any shame. When I got my oysters, I swear that I picked out 1/3 of the oyster shell and could feel my throat lacerated as I took the oyster shot. I should’ve went to Taco Bell because I would be better off with low expectations of the garbage that I was about to consume

Awful awful service… and why is there cockroaches crawling behind the bar??? I never write reviews but I’m completely angered by this experience.

1. Dirty (toilets don’t stop flushing)
2. Rodents and roaches (should be on dirty diners or shutdown by health department)
3. Mediocre food
4. Tourist trap
5. Employees and management on cell phones
6. This place IS NOT WHAT IT USED TO BE….

Greatly suggest Vinny’s, the pump, or possibly Arubas

Great spot, especially like the happy hour specials. 40% off some drinks, and they have smaller food specials for $10 during HH. Great for people watching! We always try to sit outside :)

Our service was spot on. Great recommendations on food ... Prosciutto/ Argula flat bread is a winner.
Have been here a couple of times and will return ..

My wife and I and I friend went to 101 Ocean today, no places at the bar, so we asked to sit at a table off Commercial Blvd to enjoy the Ocean breeze. There were at least 3 or 4 open tables. The hostess said no, she already sat people there and we had to sit on the El Mar St. side, no breeze. So we left. Crazy that a restaurant would turn away customers, especially from local customers, all 3.of us grew up around here. Do yourself a favor and go to Vinnie's across the street or Pier 14.

I came here at night with my wife for our anniversary dinner as this was the place we had our first date. Thankfully the staff were able to ruin my special moment with her when they refused to seat me at an outside table with light. My wife is blind in one eye and cannot see very well. The hostess refused to sit me at the only table with light outside because “they only had one outside waitress” keep in mind we were the only people dining outside so i dont know why my partially blind wife and I sitting one table over would have been a problem. When the waitress brought out our menus after seating us in the complete shadows of darkness I expressed my frustration to which the waitress stared at me with a blank face. I decided to get up and go across the street to Harat’s by the sea which was WAYYYYYYYYY better. As I was walking away I heard the waitress say “sounds like a personal issue” This place is an absolute disgrace to the ft lauderdale experience

Parking: I decided to valet at Aruba's. It was $15 and we were able to park there and walk 1 block to the 101 Ocean.

We enjoyed multiple amazing dinners at 101 this week! Thank you so much to our servers, Matt and Chris who took such good care of us, and made us feel at home. All of our meals were delicious, the scallops were amazing! Looking forward to coming back in the spring!
