My family and I came in on a Sunday night and the place was empty. I ordered the cheesesteak with cheese, green bell peppers and mushrooms, my husband ordered the Boston Beef 3 Ways, and my parents ordered the Boston Beef Burger. All items were very delicious and huge portions. Perfect meat to bread ratio. The lady that everyone seems to be complaining about was very nice and friendly to me and my family. Please give this place a try if you are in the area. You will not regret it!

This place is a hidden gem. Dave Portnoy ("one bite, everybody knows the rules")gave it an 8.3 rating. I've been coming here for a few years now and it has remained consistently good- the cheesesteaks are made of freshly sliced ribeye, seasoned to perfection, perfectly cooked on always fresh bread. They slice as you order and the wait is never more than 5 minutes from beginning to end, service is always great, they're friendly and always happy to see you. Outside of Chicago, these are the best cheesesteaks I've had. Sorry Dave, I have to disagree with you which, doesn't happen often- I rate Boston Beef By The Sea a hands down 9 and when I get the chance to sit and eat here, it's a 10! Whether you're a local or a tourist, do yourself a favor and get a cheesesteak-

Over priced & terrible service! Went for lunch - ordered 2 sandwiches and drinks. Over $50.00 and order was incorrect. Wasn't busy (only one other couple in the place) had to wait and order came out wrong. Avoid! Much better places to eat in LBTS.

Went there on 3/4, had the cheesesteak sandwich, would give any Philly cheesesteak competition for the Best! Wife had the lobster roll 5 stars! The onion rings were Great! Glad we stopped, will go back before we leave!!
Saw this place reviewed online by OneBite and I was interested in trying a Boston Beef 3 Ways. The lady taking your order is a definite character in a good way. The bartender next door at the taco place recommended the Philly but I was interested in trying something new as well. The Philly was one of the best I’ve ever had and the Boston 3 Ways is definitely a unique experience. Both were really good and the guys/lady cooking the food and serving you were super friendly. I would definitely go back. Highly recommended and definitely a must try.

Just happened to walk go by this little place and the family owned vibe caught my attention and I couldn’t be happier that I stopped to check it out. Very basic Boston cut and dry menu and that’s all that is needed because the quality speaks for itself. The fact that there are empty chairs around me is the only thing I have a problem with. Cmon people! Do yourselves a favor and grab a beef sandwich here. You will thank me

The cheesesteak was delicious! Fresh cut rib eye steak with the perfect amount of cheese on a fresh hoagie roll. It tops the “philly cheesesteak” I’m used to from my native city of Philadelphia. The service was friendly & timely. I highly recommend this place!!
