I wish I could comment on the food or service but both times I’ve visited the restaurant -eager to use a Groupon I bought and enjoy a tasty breakfast- the location was closed.

Mind you this is during the business hours listed in Google Maps. Each time there was at least one person behind the locked doors that didn’t notice or acknowledge a guest looking for service during business hours.

One could say the Google Maps listing was incorrect, but there’s no way to tell because there also wasn’t any type of sign advertising business hours or with a message saying ‘Be right back’.

I love supporting small business and know things can happen with a small crew but not even having a sign to confirm when I could actually come back makes me less motivated to try to make a third trip out there.

Walked all the way here from our hotel based on hours published on Google just to see door locked and restaurant not open yet. Should keep its hours updated so people don’t come here just to be turned away.

The food was amazing, we observed a bit of a spat between the ladies cooking and those taking orders, there was a bit of chaotic energy, but the food and attention to detail was great for us as customers.

For a tourist area they demand cash then demand you to use their ATM to which has high fees! No thanks!

This is the perfect spot for people looking to have a tasty breakfast, lunch or brunch, while enjoying a relaxing day at the beach.

I found a Groupon for Diner by the Sea while in town on vacation, so we gave it a try. It did not disappoint! The best homefries I've ever had! They are cooked to perfection with grilled onions and I don't like onions, so that is saying a lot. If you are in the area give Diner by the Sea a try. There is limited seating, but we had minimal wait.

Super cute little diner. Lisa was great, whole staff very personable. Food was also delicious. Seems like lots of locals come here which tells me my impression is accurate.

The food was amazing . Everything was homemade and super fresh , the service was great the staff is so friendly . Cheryl greeted us and was so nice and treated us like she had known us . We will definitely be coming back i love the environment i highly recommend . The price was also pretty convenient for the amount of food we got for 3 people . For sure one of the most friendliest staff .

Just an ok breakfast spot. definitely not a 5 star place like others have said. Friendly staff with an old diner like experience.
Online prices are different than what are on the menu. Portions are large though.
Potato's needed a longer cooking time, IDK my 3 egg omelet.... I could have cooked it better. And for less than the $15 they charged for it. The Biscuits and gravy were good though.
For the prices and quality of fare, we probably won't return. For the 2 pictured dishes, coffee and a side of grits it was $38 bucks before tip. Not worth it.
