The food and service were both excellent, and the ambience had a relaxed, casual vibe. I went on a weekday, and to my surprise, the waitress was also the cook, she did it all! Despite juggling two other tables, she didn't miss a beat. Everything came out on time, and the octopus was absolutely perfect—tender, flavorful, and not at all chewy or undercooked. Truly impressive service and food.
We walked into an empty nice looking little restaurant one gentleman at the bar. All we kept hearing was on a speaker cell phone, screaming back-and-forth. We sat down at a corner table by the window and we waited and the screaming was going on back-and-forth back-and-forth , she gave the gentleman at the bar a hug and was still screaming with that speakerphone. We didn't get a head nod one finger up to say your acknowledge We felt she finally you got through to somebody besides pressing one and two we gave her the benefit of the doubt. 15 minutes later we decide to get up and leave. Still in phones yelling she had an important phone call, but you know. Multi task give men's. All we wanted was the fried chicken. Bad day for all
Great meal. Love the avocado lemon salad. We also had the steak pita and the delicious tiramisu. Nice wine selection. Service is excellent. Such a beautiful restaurant with a great menu and specials to suit everyone.
Sehr leckeres Essen und wirklich nette Gastwirte. Sehr ungezwungen und mit Kids ganz wunderbar.
You’ve gotta try this Greek spot—seriously. The Bronzino was super tender and flavorful, and the grilled octopus was perfect—crispy edges, really tender.
The Moussaka hit the spot, and the desserts were legit. They’ve also got some solid Greek beers that go great with everything.
I’m definitely going back—those sandwich specials for lunch look awesome for a quick bite during work hours. Total hidden gem.
Amazing, authentic Greek cuisine at a reasonable price! The branzino and family meals are spectacular, and never have I ever had octopus so tender.
So me and my girlfriend were trying to decide where to eat in Fort lauderdale after the july 4th fireworks on the beach and we decided to try this place. Walking in, they weren't busy when it was that late. We both ordered gyros. We were treated to very good service that was friendly and efficient. They started us with fresh hummus and pita it was very tasty. My girlfriend ordered lemonade and they fresh squeezed it, it was very good. Our gyros came, and I swear they were hands down the best gyros I have ever had. They didn't just taste fresh they were also authentic and delicious. The fries were hot and seasoned. The whole restaurant is amazing and needs to be tried. I will definitely be back.
Absolutely delicious! Super nice staff and relaxing ambiance:)
We went last night and it was delicious! We had the most amazing platter of hummus and pita. We added on feta cheese and olives, which made it even better! My daughter and I had the Gyro, and my sister had Spanikopita. Everything was very good and the owner is very nice! We will be back in Lauderdale by the Sea in December, and we will definitely come back here!!
Hidden gem. Amazing quality, freshness and flavors in every dish. Very casual and friendly atmosphere. Prefer the food here in comparison to the neighboring Greek restaurants that are all hype. I have never been to Greece but i hope the food there is like this restaurant. Cant wait to go back🤍💙

My wife and I enjoy Greek and Mediterranean food and we seek out such restaurants wherever we travel. We found this restaurant by luck in Lauderdale by the sea. We had a very friendly server and the food was authentic and delicious. We would happily return here when we come back to the area.
This is the ONLY GREEK restaurant in town for us!
Yeah, yeah, yeah... we all can guess which Greek eatery people attest as the best. But respectfully, while that place is capable at filtering you in and out, KEESE'S is the true Greek cuisine dining experience.
Yes, DINING! Keese's may take time at times; but it's time not spent standing in a long queue. You're seated at a table, enjoying hummus and pita while you await a delicious meal, expertly crafted by chef Denise!
The staff keeps moving and could not be more welcoming.
I have lost count at how often we and our friends have dined here. We tell EVERYONE that this is the Greek to get thee to!
We were the first ones in the restaurant. We had a drink at the bar and told the server we wanted to be seated outside for dinner. After a significant amount of time we went outside and found a table. The server/bar server was totally overwhelmed. We were outside for a hour before they brought humus to the table. Several tables were seated and served before us, people that came after us were leaving. After 2 hours they brought our dinner. I got the wrong dinner. I was furious we told the server bring us boxes so that we could leave. We asked him to bring us the check Again we waited. My husband got up inside and paid the check. We asked the server why he didn't come to our table ask if we needed anything - he told us everyone was fired last week and there were only two people working plus the owner/chef. Terrible dining experience. We heard someone talking to another table and he said enjoy your dinner when you finally get it. Food might be good but not worth the wait. I would rate the experience a 1.
We were one of 4 tables in the restaurant. We got there at 7:30. We finally got our food at 9:05.. The table next to us was there first and they did not get their food until about 9:20.. The people there are very nice, but something is going on when you wait that long to get your food..
Worst dining experience in my 12 years in Lauderdale by the Sea. Avoid! Seated about 6:50 pm on a Sunday night. The waitress was working hard. Ordered soon after. First appetizer sold out. Was told second choice available. We ordered lamb shank and bronzino. Waitress said only one lamb shank left but she told other table none left as an offset to running out of first appetizer. 15 minutes later a small salad of shredded lettuce with bits of feta comes out. Waitress said that was complimentary as the second appetizer we ordered wasn't available. It was pathetic. But at least a gesture. 15 minutes later the lamb shank comes out. My wife finished her dinner but my bronzino still hadn't come out. I told the waitress if it didn't come out in 5 minutes to cancel it. 6 minutes later I told her to cancel it. She said it would be out in a couple of minutes as they were waiting for the broccoli. The fish came with spinach so I guess out of that too. I left after having a beer and half a pathetic salad. Lang shank was OK only. A couple of other diners came up to the kitchen opening asking where their food was. The cook screamed “if you don't want to wait get out”. I'm taking their advice. With all the wonderful options in the area why go to a place like this. Avoid
